We stayed at little jaisal haveli which Partner with trotters. They pick you up at the hotel, drop you off back at it and give you all nessecary information.
100% recommend the place.
The tour started with a jeep ride from the hotel (2.5h with stops at a lake and a newly built fort with view over an abandoned village). Prepare for it being bumpy, but it's worth it.
Finally we reached the safari location just at the verge between bush land and sand desert with camels waiting for us.
The initial camel ride took ~1.5h and ended at a little desert camp in the middle of a large, slightly elevated, sand dune overseeing the vast savannah and beginning sand desert all around.
We got a really nice non-spicy daal and chapati dinner accompanied by chai and a lovely campfire leading us into the night sleeping under the stars.
The next morning started with a beautiful sunrise accompanied by a lovely breakfast (toasts with jam, porridge, bananas, chai, water).
At the end we got a short camel ride back to the previous day's camel ride starting position (you can also choose to go by jeep if your tighs are hurting too much) and got driven back to our hotel again.
All in all we can only recommend it. Our guide Mahendra was great, explaining and describing everything to us.
