The Do Eat Better Experience food tour is a walking tour around the historical center of the city. The tourist is guided by a Foodie, a local buddy able to explain every detail of the selected restaurants, their preparations, and the relevant history/curiosities. Do Eat Better Experience tours are a mix of high-quality gastronomy as a way of showing Italian culture and lifestyle and a walking experience together with a local friend. This is the reason why we accept small groups only: we want to focus on a genuine exchange and give to each tourist the highest attention possible. Please, note that the tour is always run in English and Italian; other languages upon request.

    In our Palermo street food tour, you will taste the best of Sicilian Street Food, walking in the loud and colorful historical city center, escorted by our local food experts.

    You will start our food tour with a must try of Palermo, in order to have an overview of the rich and tasty Sicilian street food culture: Panino ca meuza and Panino with panella and crocchè.

    We will taste some of the following Sicilian street food specialties like the famous Sfincione and rice arancina.

Fantastic… don’t miss this tour!

Carlo was a fantastic guide and knowledgeable. He provided interesting facts not only about the food but also history of Palermo, neighborhoods and the people. We felt like we were touring with a friend. Food was great and filling!! Visited local and family owned shops. Great time and so glad we did this tour.

It was a very nice and fun start of my Palermo experience and I liked it a lot. Very small group, great locations and super tasty food of course. Annalisa was an excellent tour guide and gave great insights both about the (food) culture and historical aspects of the city. Can highly recommend the tour!

Entertaining and very tasty tour with a great guide

We had a very interesting and entertaining afternoon tasting great Sicilian street food with Annalise who is very passionate about the food, culture and history of her beloved Palermo. We learned how the different cultures that lived in Sicilian and in Palermo influenced the local cuisine. She is very dedicated and was always taking care of anything we needed so we enjoyed the entire experience. Go hungry because there is so much tasty food.

Marinella , our guide, was fantastic. She explained not just the food but the history of the culture through its good. We ate truly authentically and not in tourist focussed businesses. It was an amazing day

Great way to spend our first night in Palermo

This tour was a great way to kick off our trip to Sicily and try all the local specialties when in Palermo. Annalisa was wonderful - we had the best time and learned a lot about Palermo. Would definitely recommend this tour and coming hungry because we filled up fast on all the delicious food! Thanks for the memories and taking great pictures!
