Overview

What an addition to your Khajuraho visit! Just 25km far & 30 Minutes drive from Khajuraho, Panna National Park is one of the most popular national parks & wildlife sanctuaries in India. This national park was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1994, is a treasure house of flora and fauna. One of the main attractions of the Panna National Park is the majestic Royal Bengal Tiger and the Ghariyals (in Ken River), a fish eating crocodile which is found exclusively in the Indian Subcontinent. Besides the tigers, there are Wolf, Wild Dog, Leopard, Sambhar, Sloth Bear, Chital, Nilgai and Chinkara. Itinerary

  • Panna Tiger Reserve

    Panna Tiger Reserve and National Park entrance gate is located 25km from Khajuraho, some 30 minutes’ drive. You can choose from morning or afternoon safari here. For morning safari we pick you up at 05:00-05:30AM and for after noon safari we pick up at 01-30-02:00PM. Morning Safari ends at 10-10:30AM and afternoon safari ends at 05:30-06:30PM (safari lasts till Sunset) and further 30 minutes drive to Khajuraho and you reach your hotel back. 50% of park visit fees INR 2500/- to be paid upon pick up for the tour.

Amazing treat to see tigers in their natural habitat

To find a peaceful protected place in India is a rare and well worth the visit. I didn't see tigers on my first visit as it was the afternoon so I booked again to go in the morning and saw 4. An adult and 3 about 6 months old. The guides are all very professional and ensure your safety and enjoyment. Well worth a visit!!

Great experience, even spotted a tiger!

The safari was great! Our guide first ensured that we got the very limited slots to enter the core zone of the National Park and thereafter was extremely knowledgeable as he and the forest department guide informed us about everything the forest had to offer. He also created a very nice environment for us and communicated well throughout. The highlight of the trip was definitely spotting a tiger, and the guides worked together to ensure we picked a spot that would give us an excellent view. We got many good photos. Overall, one of the best safari experiences we have had, and one that I would recommend to everyone.

Excellent experience thanks to the tour coordinator Mr Narendra Shivhare who is a wonderful human being and cared for us meticulously. Punctuality and quality were very nice as well as smooth safari experience. We had great sighting of wild animals including a Royal Bengal tiger from a very close distance of about ten metres, she gave us a greeting with a gentle roar. We saw hundreds of spotted deer and sambhar also. We entered through the Madla gate after scrupulous screening by the authorities and had this wonderful experience. I hotly recommend this tour for anyone visiting the Panna national park safari.

It was a fantastic experience. Got to see two tigers. Saw other animals and birds too. The beauty and environment of the national park was well preserved.
