This private tour can be customized to meet your preferences. Approximate schedule is 10am-1pm. The restaurants are subject to change. 10am Meet your friendly local guide in your hotel lobby and get prepared to learn how to eat like a Parisian on this lovely half-day tour of city’s trendsetting dining scene. Wind your way to Champ de Mars, huge area of green lawns and flowerbeds manicured with military precision. Bring the blanket, grab some cookies and enjoy spectacular views of Eiffel Tower.Â

11am Experience the charm and elegance of St Germain des Pres which is must-visit quarter if you want to sample real Parisian life. Pass by small bystreets, old mansions and lovely courtyards, wander along the small food markets and do not skip the chance to sample the best French cheese and wine (own expense).

Paulina took us to many corners of Paris we wouldn’t have seen. The pastry and lunch stops were delicious. My only piece of advice is to bring a large umbrella as our ending was quick as it began to rain.

Jean was very friendly, knowledgeable and flexible. As we got to know each other, he tailored our walk to fit my interests. He was patient when I wanted to shop and even helped me improve my limited ability to speak French. I would have never gotten to the places he showed me. As we wanted to cover a lot of ground, we took shortcuts through passages, up stairs, down stairs, it was really fun! I thoroughly enjoyed the morning. I would highly recommend this tour and Jean to anyone who wants a peak at the REAL Paris.

My wife and I recently visited Paris and the first thing we did was book a food tour. We couldn't think of a better way to spend our first day - getting a personal tour, learning about such a wonderful history and getting to sample a variety of foods specific to Paris! Our guide / friend was Dorothee, who took us on our tour, and she did not disappoint. We had a lovely time with her as she walked us around various historical locations and eateries. It was a perfect introduction to Paris, and we would highly recommend this approach to anyone planning to visit. Cheers Dorothee, we loved the tour!
