PERGE: The ruins of the city, although not on the scale of Efhessus, Pergamon, are neverless vast. Most of today' s Perge hoever, belongs to the Pax Romana-the theatre, stadium, baths and colonaded street. The stadium is one of the best preserved of the ancient world. ASPENDOS: Some 25 miles east of Antalya and 3 miles of the main road lies Aspendos, graced with a theatre that rivals any single adifice on the Turkish coast. Aspendos Built on the second century and seating 15.000, the structure is nearly entire except for part of the upper cornice. İt is architect was Xenon a local lad, whose secretformula for creating such perfect acoustics has not yet been discovered. Side Is located in region of Pamphylia in Anatolia and was both a prosperous Aegean tranding centre Hellenistic and Roman times and a base for Cilicia pirates in the 1 st and 2 nd centruise BCE. The Manavgat Waterfall is 85 km in distance along the Antalya -Alanya highway, which is a fascinating national park of Antalya.

Perga or Perge was an ancient Greek city in Anatolia, once the capital of Pamphylia Secunda, now in Antalya Province on the southwestern Mediterranean coast of Turkey. Today, it is a large site of ancient ruins 15 kilometres east of Antalya on the coastal plain. An acropolis located there dates back to the Bronze Age.

Side is a city on the southern Mediterranean coast of Turkey. It includes the modern resort town and the ruins of the ancient city of Side, one of the best-known classical sites in the country. It lies near Manavgat and the village of Selimiye, 78 km from Antalya in the province of Antalya. It is located on the eastern part of the Pamphylian coast, which lies about 20 km east of the mouth of the Eurymedon River. Today, as in antiquity, the ancient city is situated on a small north-south peninsula about 1 km long and 400 m across.

Manavgat Waterfall

Manavgat Waterfall on the Manavgat River is near the city of Side, 3 km north of Manavgat, Turkey. Its high flow over a wide area as it falls from a low height is best viewed from a high altitude. The white, foaming water of the Manavgat Waterfalls flows powerfully over the rocks. Near the waterfalls are shady tea gardens providing a pleasant resting place. The Oymapinar Dam is located 12 km to the north of the river. During floods, the Manavgat Falls may disappear under high water.

A great introduction to sites of the area

Guide gave a very full explanation of the history of the area. Perge was a site we could have spent a whole day, but we got much more from the site because of our guide. The Aspendos theatre, still in use, was stunning.

We visited Perge, Side, Aspendos and a waterfall with Nirvana Tours. Our host was honestly one of the most informed tour guides that we have ever encountered. He was brimming with knowledge that he shared with us on the minibus and at each site. I really wish we had booked more tours with this guide. Now that we have experienced Nirvana Tours, we will have to use them again when we return in April next year. The lunch provided was delicious and I had a great vegetarian option. Each site was magnificent and left us eager to explore more of this beautiful country. We spent just the right amount of time at each stop but we didn't feel pressured if we wanted to see something in more depth. Our guide was really flexible! If you are considering a tour company, choose this one!

Excellent all round. Pickup was punctual. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and funny. The tour was well organised and we got to see all the sites within one day. The lunch was also good.

I recommande this agency. The organisation in easy going, the guides are well informed about history and fun too. They barely saved few days of my vacations while I was by my own. I booked 3 trip with them. I went in Pumakkale, Aspendos and I also tried the boat trip to visit the beautiful Suluada island. If you like culture places and relax places too you can follow them!
