Aspendos Ruins

The most important structure of Aspendos is the theatre. It is an open-air theater that has been preserved in the best way among the ancient theaters. This theater is the oldest and most robust example of the Roman Theaters in Anatolia that has survived to the present day with its stage. Its architect is Zenon, son of Theodorus of Aspendos. It was built during the reign of Antonius Piu (138-164). The theater was presented to the local gods of the city and the emperor family. Aspendos is visited by thousands of local and foreign tourists every year and was used for concerts and activities until a few years ago.

Side Antik Kenti

Side, a peninsula in Antalya's Manavgat district, dates back to BC. It is estimated that it was founded before the 7th century. Side means "Pomegranate", the sacred fruit of the ancient Anatolian goddesses, and is also used as the emblem of the city of Side. Looking at the inscriptions in hand, BC.
