Perfect way to taste multiple authentic dishes in Mexico City

Really awesome tour with super friendly and knowledgeable guide who was also a chef. This was a fantastic way to try authentic food across local restaurants in the pretty Polanco neighborhood. We sat down at each spot as a group to taste a variety of food and drinks - all of which were exceptional!

So much fun. We hit so many cool places to eat. We went our first night and so glad we did. We went back to several of the restaurants on the tour. our host was wonderful and very nice and informative. We really liked the selection of the restaurants and the ease of how we were welcomed into the restaurants to try their food.

This was a very enjoyable experience. The guide spoke very good english and was knowledgeable about the foods, the ingredients, and how it was prepared. The Polanco area is very pleasant and the restaurants were varied and interesting.

I spent 4 days in Mexico Ciry with my adult son. He worked in between our touring, so when I had free time, I took a few hours to do a local food tour. I consider myself a "foodie" and always try to book top restaurants while traveling. I live close to Manhattan and often head to the city to eat. Mexico City is a foodies paradise! The food tour focused on a lively area of Mexico City known as Polanco. Our guide, Chef Ilse, took us through a wonderful culinary tour of discovery. We visited 7 different sites in the area -- from delicious informal taquerias to mire established restaurants. Some of the food we tried included: Chilaquiles, Enchilada de mole, Taco de cochinita, Taco negro, Tostada de atún, Sorbet and Mezcalita de Jamaica. If you have three hours and interested in exposure to the variety of wonderful Mexican food and drinks, I highly recommend taking this tour. You won't regret it.
