Beautiful Day in Slovenia with David

David was very good with communicating with us regarding the planning of the tour and the meeting location. The meet at the port of Koper Slovenia was easy, David was waiting for us. David was very pleasant, informative about sites, his country and directions and spoke very good English which was very helpful to us. David drove us through the lovely countryside to the Postojna Castle for a tour and then to the Postojna Cave. Both were amazing. Just a little warning to those who may be older or dealing with limited mobility (our group was age 67 to 80). If not is good shape, the one hour walk thru the cave can be an entire days work out! First you take a 15 to 20 minute train ride and then walk an hour, some up hill, some downhill, then ride the train for another few minutes. We got a good work out and loved the entire day. David dropped us off in port with plenty of time to spare.

This tour is well worth it! We had a great guide and the caves were amazing! The castle was quite awesome as well.

Dave was an excellent tour guide, really helpful and friendly. He told us lots of info about Slovenia and was great with our son also! Was a great experience and enjoyed seeing the beautiful country. Highly recommended!

Tour guide, Dave, was very informative. We were on a ship schedule so needed to be back on time & Dave ensured that we were, despite lots of traffic. We loved the caves & castle. . Very beautiful!

The largest cave in Europe is fascinating at every turn. Exploring the castle built into the face of the mountain was unexpected. Very fun!
