What an amazing place! We took a taxi up to Prague Castle and walked straight through to the Lobkowicz Palace. (I had read that people were confused as to where it was, but if you looked at the main map upon arrival, it is clearly marked on the far side of the Castle grounds.) I purchased tickets directly from Lobkwicz Palace online ahead for the tour of the Palace and the concert. (My mom is a senior, so there is a savings for someone 65 and older!) We arrived at 10 a.m. and were greeted by a lovely lady who got our audio devices and gave us our concert tickets. We started our audio tour, and it was fascinating. Having the family guide you through the history made it all the better. The exhibits were well-marked, informative, and amazing. The whole story around the family brings me to tears but I am so happy they were able to get their possessions back and share them with us. What a collection! We finished our audio tour and had time for a light lunch in the cafe. Just soup and sandwich, but on a cold day, it hit the spot. The waiters were so friendly and took great care of us. We went back upstairs in time for the concert. Three female musicians took the stage and gave us an absolutely delightful concert!! Such talent! The price for the tour and concert was not expensive at all. We had an amazing time! And once finished, followed the steps down the hill to our hotel, The Augustine. I would highly recommend this tour and especially the concert!

It was a lovely gallery, cafe and shop. The concert was enjoyable. I do however wish we'd known that senior prices were available at the site or that they'd been offered on the trip advisor site.

This is one of the best experiences in Prague, off the beaten track and without many tourists. The palace has a beautiful selection of art, musical history, pottery, and furnishings and a great audio guide in which members of the Lobkowitz family explain the past 600 years of Czech history via their own family story. Very well done with lots of warmth and humor. The 1pm concert is delightful. I was too sorry to find this gem on my last day in Prague because otherwise I would have taken the tour of their other castle out of Town as well

The concert was delightful. An hour with a viola, flute and piano. Lots of interesting items in the palace and stories about the family.

Amazing complex of decadent buildings and wonderful historical artifacts. Cathedral's windows are breathtaking.
