Hiking in Bohemia and Saxony

The company provided regular and detailed updates regarding the time of the trip, the gear needed, and the weather. The guide, Petr, was punctual, friendly, knowledgeable, and a genuine pleasure to be around. The hikes were beautiful, and not very strenuous (I'd say low-end of 'moderate' hiking). Cannot recommend this trip enough!

Fantastic daytrip from Prague

I had a fantastic day out with Tomas and a fun group of new friends! Everything was smooth and easy, from the pickup at my hotel, to each activity and lunch. Tomas made sure we were all taken care of and knew the gameplan as we went. Visiting these sites in the winter was beautiful and uncrowded and we could take out time at each spot. Highly recommended to get a look outside of the city.

Great Day with Marek in Winter Wonderland!

Marek was an amazing tour guide. His knowledge of the history of the monuments, the national parks, and the Czech Republic was truly amazing to hear. He was also very ready for any weather, including the ice, helping us put spikes on our sneakers and making sure we crossed safely at every point. The tour itself is done very well, from seamless pick-up in a nice large vehicle to hiking to a delicious lunch and finally back home eventually. It was truly the experience of a lifetime and Marek made it excellent! I would highly recommend this tour to families, couples, and solo travelers who love nature. The hikes are very doable and Marek had tons of patience with us. We would do another tour from this company again. Thank you, Marek!

Fantastic day to two awesome locations!

From the moment I contacted Northern Hiles they were fantastic. I have a disability with some small limitations and when I explained my situation they took the time to understand and advise. They could not have been more accomodating through the whole booking process….Zuzana you are a star. Our guide for the day was Marek, awesome guy, very friendly, knowledgeable and funny. He was clearly briefed on my disability and was very accomodating without making me feel self-conscious. As for the hike….wow…. We had light to moderate snow all day which made it even more magical. The walk up to the sandstone arch is uphill but very manageable for anyone with hiking or bushwalking experience and a moderate fitness level. We then visited Bastei bridge which is spectacular. We started the day with a snack pack of fruit and water which was nice but the lunch between the two destinations was wonderful. Both locations are well worth the effort and Northern Hikes made the experience so awesome I can’t recommend them highly enough!!

We had a great trip today! The coordination for pick up was easy. The weather was a little cold but the views made up for it. It was a great way to get away from the crowds and see another side of the Czech Republic
