Great Nature

It's amazing nature. The track was easy given that I had both the experience and equipment for it but should not be underestimate. Bring cash (for buying water, enterence tickets and emergencies). The guide talked about the local plants and their applications in local traditional medicine. Don't expect a European style mountain guide it's more like having a tour guide that also hikes along with you (this seams to be the standard in Perú though). The guide did know some English however we mostly talked in Spanish (at my request, because I wanten to practice my language skills)

I really enjoyed doing the hike in Colca Canyon with José! He is very attentive and helpful, and he knows a lot about the local plants and animals. We had lots of nice conversations during meals and his guidance made the trip very pleasant! Highly recommend
