Gio was fantastic! I enjoyed every minute of this tour from start to finish. Everything was taken care of from the moment we were picked up. From cold water, to opening our doors, stops along the way for history and pictures, nonstop laughs and entertainment. I feel like I learned so much about the Almalfi Coast after spending the day with Gio. You can feel his passion for the work he does and the love he has for his country. It was quite a gift that he shared this love with us today. You instantly connect with Gio the moment you meet him with his friendly smile and charm. I felt like a princess all day. I absolutely recommend this tour for anyone wanting to spend the day enjoying the beauty of the Almalfi coast

Where do I start! Gio was waiting for us with a friendly smile at our cruise port. He escorted us to his Mercedes van to start our tour. The van was so clean, air conditioned, he had chilled water available and was an amazing driver. Gio was so informative and was able to answer all our questions about Naples and the area we were visiting. We had amazing photo stops and were given free time to enjoy Ravello and Amalfi. The drive was so beautiful and relaxing. Gio shared with us stories of his family and we felt like we were friends rather than customers....he even sang to us on the way home. Bravo!! We thought things couldn't get any better....but then we reached our lunch destination Monastero Santa Rosa - WOW, WOW and WOW. Gio gave us a tour of the Resort, explaining its history and the views. Each one was better than the next. We couldn't stop taking photos. Then we were taken to our table for lunch. Imagine this, sitting under beautiful vines in dappled sun enjoying Italian wine and delicious food whilst enjoying the Amalfi coastal view. We really were in heaven. If you are thinking about booking a tour with this company...don't wait! You will not regret it. I am a traveller who researches everything before travelling. I tend to book a lot of my travel arrangements through a trusted travel agency. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find that one tour that covered what I wanted to do in Naples, especially when getting off a cruise ship. I found Lovely Amalfi tours on line and was impressed by the reviews that other people had left. So I took a chance and booked the tour. What impressed me the most was the quick communication from the team. They were able to provide me with all the information I needed and remained in contact with me prior to the tour. They made sure that I had contact numbers in case anything went wrong or changed prior to the pick up. Not only that, they didn't even charge me when I booked! They informed me that they don't charge you until the end of your tour. Gio said "why would I charge you for something that I haven't done yet!". And if your cruise ship can't dock...they don't charge you either. How's that for honest service. They only take your card details at the time of booking if you're a 'no show'. I'm so grateful to have booked with this company. We were treated with such warmth, friendliness, respect, and honesty. Thank you Gio and your team for making our visit to Naples so special. You truly are amazing. We will definitely be visiting Europe again and will absolutely be booking another tour with you. Take care my friend x

This company was awesome! Easy to communicate with, prompt, great vehicle. Giovanni was a wonderful tour guide. He stopped for photo opportunities, gave great recommendations. The ultimate was the lunch he took us to. Definitely book with them!

My husband and I just finished a 10 day Mediterranean cruise, and this was the highlight of our trip! Like most, I found Lovely Amalfi Coast Tours on TripAdvisor, and I chose them after reading all the great reviews. I can testify that the rave reviews are well-deserved! We had a fabulous day touring the Amalfi coast. Giovanni (Gio) was our guide, and we could not have asked for a better host. He was professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable, providing us with lots of information about the local sites and the Neapolitan culture. He was also very funny and entertaining, providing us with a good deal of fun! Yes, we did sing Italian songs with him! Gio is also a great driver, and we felt very safe and comfortable driving with him along the narrow roads of the mountainous coastline. In addition, Gio was mindful of our limited schedule, and he insured that we got back to our cruise port on time. We decided on an early start at 7:30 am in order to experience the full expanse of the Amalfi coast. Gio was on time and waiting for us with a sign as we exited the terminal. He drove a sparkling clean Mercedes van and it was very comfortable. Gio suggested to us some of the less touristy and less crowded sites to visit, and we agreed. We drove the milky mountains route to visit Ravello, which was a unique driving experience by itself. The mountains are majestic! At Ravello, we had free time and toured two beautiful famous villas, Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone. (Both villas have amazing sea and cliff views, but the path to Cimbrone is a rocky path with lots of steps and stones. You may want to skip Cimbrone if you are not up to a rocky 15 minute hike …) After Ravello, we took a scenic drive along the Amalfi coast, stopping along the way for epic pictures with amazing views. We chose not to stop in Positano or Sorrento given the crowds. We instead visited a small olive oil factory and wine producer that had a great restaurant overlooking the beautiful coastline from the mountains. The food was very good, and the service was even better! We tasted several different types of olive oil, wine, and even Limoncello, which we were able to buy and ship to the states. Yay! We then drove back to the Naples port and arrived well within our boarding time. A perfect day living la dolce vita in the Lovely Amalfi Coast!

We had an incredible tour! We'd gladly do it again with Gio a thousand times over. He took us to some of the most stunning places, shared fascinating history and information, played amazing music, and was exceptionally kind and friendly. It truly felt like he was part of our family.
