THE COST OF THIS TOUR IS BY GROUP. Concierge Tours ensures that all our guests, no matter the size of the group, see exactly what they want in the time they are in the Washington, DC area. Now, Concierge Tours would like to show you as much as possible but there are simply not enough hours in a day to share all that Washington, DC has to offer. Please refer to the Tour Details to see the options of venues that are available to you and your family. Depending on whether you choose a Half or Full Day tour will allow you to visit 2 - 3 locations. Half Day Tours usually last 4 Hours with two venues and Full Day Tours usually last 6 hours with 3 venues. You can discuss these options with your guide prior to your visit! Ask about our Night Tour of the National Monuments! Concierge Tours also caters to children! We keep them entertained and engaged during the tour.

Great Personalized Private Tour of DC

We enjoyed our day with Alan touring Washington DC on a very cold day just after a snowstorm tried to shut down the city. Between the snow, President Carter’s funeral the day following our tour and the upcoming Presidential Inauguration, many venues around town were unfortunately closed. Alan planned around the closures and took us to Ford’s Theater, the National Archives and Arlington National Cemetery. After a short late afternoon break we met up with him again for a beautiful night time tour of the National Monuments. We enjoy eating at family owned restaurants vs. traditional chains, so for lunch he suggested a wonderful Chinese restaurant in Chinatown. It hands down was the best meal we ate in our short time in DC. We enjoyed our day and would recommend both of these tours to anyone wanting to experience the city at their own pace, while learning about the history of it all from a guide who loves to share his knowledge of US history.

We truly cannot recommend Alan enough if you are looking to explore Washington DC. My fiancé and I were going to DC for a few days and wanted to pack in as much as possible. Alan FaceTimed both of us prior to our tour to build the itinerary. He helped us decide what would be worth seeing with him. He even gave us recommendations of other things we could see during our stay outside of the tour. The tour itself was UNREAL… a day we will never forget. Alan is beyond sweet, accommodating, fun, and smart. We never met someone who knew more about history. His tour is great for any level of knowledge as he makes sure to meet you where you are at. For his knowledge of history, you would think he has taken this tour one million times. For his excitement and enthusiasm, you would think this is the first tour he has been on. Booking Alan was the best decision we made!!!

Outstanding tour of Washington DC

We did this tour as a family of 5 including 3 young adult children. We all agreed that it was a great day. Alan is a fantastic guide, incredibly knowledgeable and personable. He has an incredible wealth of knowledge of Washington DC which he shared during the day in an informative and very engaging manner. He truly brings the history of this city to life! The day ran seamlessly from pick up at Union Stn to drop off at our accommodation. Alan was flexible, making sure the itinerary worked to maximise the timings etc. throughout the day. The children all commented on not only how much they learnt during the day but how engaging Alan was. We couldn’t possibly have done what we did in the day with Alan on our own, nor appreciated what we saw in the same way. We would highly recommend this tour.
