Our experiences celebrate and share the wealth and variety that not only the Scottish rock has to offer; but also the magnificent and awe-inspiring scenery, the sense of history, the wide open spaces, the clean, fresh air and the peaceful solitude. We guide on practically all of the most iconic and classic Scottish rock climbing routes, from the easy and accessible; to the extremely hard and the extremely remote. The variety of venues in this area means that we can select a location that will be suitable for everyone in your group. Allowing everyone the chance to explore, challenge themselves and succeed! From total novice to seasoned pro, we promise you a great time... and epic photos!

Itinerary

Get vertical in the Cairngorms on this rock climbing experience! This single day experience is tailored to you and is guaranteed to be challenging, fun and exciting! Your experience starts by meeting and getting to know your qualified climbing instructor. We run our rock climbing experiences in various locations across the Northern Cairngorms, with scenic venues suitable for families and novices and exciting mountain venues suitable for confident beginners right through to experienced climbers. We'll help you decide on the best venue for your group and provide all the equipment you'll need to stay safe. Some venues have a short scenic walk through ancient woods to approach, other venues involve heading high into the mountains, either way; it's an opportunity to discover another part of this beautiful area. Your climbing instructor will teach you basics of rope-work, help improve your climbing technique and of course; keep you safe throughout! There'll be lots of opportunities for photos and everyone in your group will get to try several climbs and abseils. If you are an experienced climber, we can guide you on some of the harder or more famous routes in the area. Your choice!

Family Climbing in the Cairngorms

I cannot say enough positive words about our climbing experience with our guide, Tom. He is knowledgeable, patient, encouraging, kind; and most importantly, safe! He takes great caution and is present with each climber. Tom gently coached and encouraged each of us; and in turn, we pushed ourselves to make it to the top. He offered us options on routes and graciously belayed us again and again. This was an experience my family and I will always remember. I highly recommend this excursion with in Aviemore.

I was gifted the experience of trying out rock climbing and abseiling, was my first time trying. Amy was my guide instantly put me at ease. The experience was amazing and Amy was really helpful from the day before contacting me asking what I was expecting from my experience, I was happy to go with her recommendation and glad I did as I had An amazing day from start to Finnish.
