Itinerary

  • Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum

    (Optional) First, we will pick up you and head to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Complex. A traffic-free area of botanical gardens, monuments, memorials and pagodas. Within the complex are Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House and the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh Museum and the One Pillar Pagoda.

  • Temple of Literature & National University

    (Optional) Temple of Literature & National University is originally built as a university in 1070 dedicated to Confucius, scholars and sages, the building is extremely well preserved and is a superb example of traditional-style Vietnamese architecture. Visiting the Temple of Literature you will discover historic buildings from the Ly and Tran dynasties in a revered place that has seen thousands of doctors’ graduate in what has now become a memorial to education and literature.

  • Hoa Lo Prison

    (Optional) Hoa Lo Prison ironically nicknamed the ‘Hanoi Hilton’ by US prisoners of war (POWs) during the American War. Most exhibits relate to the prison’s use up to the mid-1950s, focusing on the Vietnamese struggle for independence from France.

  • Ancient House

    (Optional) Then, we head to Ancient House. Situated at a tranquil street near Silver Street, Ancient House appeals plenty of tourists by its ancient but sophisticated charm of a Vietnamese traditional house.

    (Optional) The final destination of the tour will stop by Hoan Kiem Lake, considered the heart of Hanoi. You can observe many locals interesting activities such as playing badminton, doing exercises

Hanoi Old Quarter tour

This was a solo three-hour guided tour of Hanoi's Old Quarter. As well as being an excellent and knowledgeable guide, Tom also took the time to tailor the tour to my interests, which was greatly appreciated.

My boyfriend and I had a private free guided tour in Hanoi today with Quynh, and we really enjoyed it. She contacted us beforehand to ask what we would like to see, sent us a plan, and asked if we had any adjustments. We also asked if we could spend the whole day with her, and she said it was no problem at all. We managed to see everything we wanted. We even spontaneously added activities like drinking coffee and eating ice cream. Quynh knew so much about the city and had an answer to almost every question. It was a lot of fun, and we truly appreciated her knowledge and flexibility. Highly recommend this experience!
