Overview

Experience three incredibly exciting private tours with one expert guide. The tour includes a full city tour, including the Botero statues, colonial churches, downtown, metro, metro cable, Pueblito Paisa. There is also the Pablo Escobar segment which includes the Monaco building, where the Cali Cartel bombed his private residence, the house where the Godfather was murdered, and the cemetery where he is buried in the outskirts of Medellin. Also included is Griselda Blanco´s grave (The Godmother of Cocaine) and Pablo´s cousin and right hand Gustavo Gaviria´s site as well. Please note that we do not charge extra for tours in other languages besides English and Spanish. However, our guides in other languages such as French, German and Portuguese are subjected to availability.

    Walk inside this magnificent colonial church located in downtown Medellin close to Berrios Park and Plaza Botero.

    Stop in Downtown Medellin, where you will be mesmerized by the magnificent sculptures of maestro Fernando Botero, one of the world's most renowned sculptors. Bring a good camera, because your guides have taken photography courses and will be delighted to take postcard perfect images of you embracing these large sculptures for your memories. From here we continue on foot to really feel the vibe of the downtown area and experience rich historical content from certified  guide, regarding old colonial churches, plazas, the stunning cultural palace, and much more.

    The gorgeous, picturesque town of El Pueblito Paisa in central Medellin is next on the list. This delightfully charming town is reminiscent of how Medellin looked in the past. You'll experience captivating views of the city from the top. The town contains a lovely little church, a charming museum, cute shops with handcrafted items. Taste succulent, exquisite cuisines as you break for lunch or a snack in one of the many restaurants with savory Paisa dishes from the region (At your own expense).

    Last, you will be presented with some exhilarating real life events of the Godfather Pablo Escobar, who went from being a common car thief to being the second richest man during his lifetime, only second to the Sultan of Brunei. Revered by many who saw him as the Colombian Robin Hood who built hospitals, churches, soccer fields, schools, and a barrio for under privileged, impoverished people and hated by many rivals such as the Cali Cartel and Los Pepe's. There are mixed feelings, myths, and opinions regarding the Godfather of the Medellin Cartel. Only the top guides, experts in the subject matter, will reveal "real" information and some stories that you won't hear elsewhere. They will convey and furnish you facts in a non-biased manner, enabling you to formulate your own opinion and perception.

He was personable throughout the tour and made sure any questions I had were answered throughly. I highly recommend the tour especially on your first day’s visit because he’ll familiarize you with much of the city!
