Overview

We are Germán and Karen dancers of Salsa, Bachata and other Latin rhythms. We serve as directors of TuBaile.com ensuring patience and pedagogy in our classes. In addition to dancing, we have been guiding the Bogotá Salsa Tour since 2016 teaching about the history of salsa and the nightlife in our city. During these 3 years of experience we have perfected our technique to help you dance faster than you can imagine, even if you have never taken a class before. They call us the yellow pages of the rumba because we know almost all the places where you dance in Bogotá as well as hundreds of dancers, schools and events.

Itinerary

Learn the basic steps of Colombian salsa and other Latin rhythms (Merengue, Bachata, Vallenato) in this private class lasting an hour and a half, designed especially for foreigners, who will guide you from scratch and help you defend yourself on the dance floor Even if you've never danced Latin music before. If you already have experience dancing, we will adjust to your level so that the result is impressive. In case you are unique in the class, we will make sure you have a compatible instructor for your partner dance. The privacy of our place will give you peace of mind to learn without more people watching you. Then at night we can take you to practice on our tour of the best salsa clubs in the city.

Excellent and professional dance classes

During a visit to Bogotá I took three private classes with the instructor Karen. I have zero experience with dancing, but it seemed appropriate to learn some salsa/bachata steps while in Colombia. Karen was an excellent teacher and very professional. Lessons were clearly structured with progression. We would rehearse concepts, and practice new ones. The classes were one of the highlights of my trip, and worth every peso. I strongly recommend TuBaile.

Fun Dance

Instructor was very patient with us, especially me who has no rhythm. I left thinking I can do merengue, not so much barracha. Great date idea for my wife and I.. we had fun… Little advice, there are two dance studios very close to each other, which confuses the Uber.. Tu baile is in the red building

Great lesson, highly recommend

My husband and I (60+) were attending a relative's wedding in Bogota and wanted to be able to hold our own on the dance floor, so we booked a 90 minute salsa lesson. Our instructor Laura was wonderful -- patient and did a great job helping us with the basic steps of merengue and salsa (including the special steps of Colombian salsa). It was a little tricky for us finding the studio, but Laura was responsive and helpful. There's a great big mall across the street if you want to shop and pick up an Uber from there. Highly recommend and we had a great time on the dance floor!

Clase privada de bachata sensual

I took 15 hours of bachata sensual with Michell Riveira in 3 days. 5 hours per day was a bit of a challenge, but Michell is very pleasant person, has a very professional attitude and a good methodology of teaching bachata. I truly believe that next to my fusion/modern/traditional repertoire now I have added some cool sensual moves and generally have a much better understanding of sensual bachata that I can further build upon. Muchas gracias Michell, sigue haciendo tu trabajo como profesora de baile.
