Overview

Share with your family or friends the adventure of descending the rapids of the river rafting in Murillo de Gállego, 30 minutes from Huesca. Rafting is the most popular activity for all types of public. The famous section of the Gállego river between Carcavilla and the river beach of Murillo de Gállego is about 8km long, about 2 hours in the water and just over 3 hours for the entire activity. We will descend rapids with names like: “El paso de Olas”, “El Embudo”, “Las Gradas”, “La S”, “La Nariz”, etc. We have very good facilities with large terraces with magnificent views of the Mallos de Riglos. We also have a bar with very cold drinks, ice creams and pizzas.

Park in the public car park next to the main road and go up the brown stairs to our base in Río Escuela.

Fantastic experience rafting

I took a rafting tour at Rio Escuela with three friends on a rest day from climbing in Rodellar. Eneko was our guide for the day and made it an absolute pleasure — his instruction on how to paddle and move around the raft were clear and engaging, and in between our stints navigating rapids, he pointed out landmarks of interest, shared local history, and even stories from his experience on the water. I'm not sure when I'll find myself in the area again, but I would definitely come here again if I got the chance.

Great experience! We had four in our party and none of us had ever been rafting before. Our guide, Eneko, was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, fun, and patient. We learned the basics of whitewater rafting and also got an amazing river tour of the area! Would highly recommend.

Perfectly chaotic and a lot of fun

Very good route with calm and rough parts. It is well organized and the guides are very friendly and not afraid to crack a joke. There are small bits of river in which you can swim a bit along the route which is a nice cooldown. All in all a very nice experience and we highly recommend trying it.
