I booked this tour because I wanted to explore Saqqara in depth.
Communication with the owner before the trip was excellent. Mostafa asked me what I was most interested in and upgraded me to a specialized guide who had been involved in digs at Saqqara as an archaeologist.
I had Azmy Salama as guide and Reda as driver. Azmy showed me archeologists at work all around Saqqara. He took the time to explain everything and also took many pictures of myself. He was friendly, informative, and I could not have asked for a better guide. He showed me different types of tombs, and his extensive knowledge of Saqqara made it an incredible memory for me.
I love that I was able to customize the trip (I was less interested in Dashour and Memphis, so I was able to take the time to explore Saqqara in depth instead of rushing to one site after the other).
