Overview

On our Secret Food Tour: Seoul, we'll show you some of the most loved foods and beautiful landscapes our city has to offer. We' ll take you through hidden alleyways and quaint backstreets home to secret foodie gems, and share little tips and tricks along the way that you'll be able to use on the rest of your trip. Enjoy freshly made dishes, tasty tteokkbokki(the local kind of gnocchi!), smoky rice cakes and mini rice rolls, interesting snacks, dumplings and much more. And don't forget our delicious Secret Dish!

Itinerary

  • N Seoul Tower (Pass By)

    The N Seoul Tower, officially the YTN Seoul Tower and commonly known as the Namsan Tower or Seoul Tower, is a communication and observation tower located on Namsan Mountain in central Seoul, South Korea.

  • Gyeongbokgung Palace (Pass By)

    The main royal palace of the Joseon dynasty. Built in 1395, it is located in northern Seoul, South Korea.

  • Namdaemun Market (Pass By)

    A large traditional market in Seoul, South Korea. The market is located next to Namdaemun, the "Great South Gate," which was the main southern gate to the old city. It is the oldest and largest market in Korea.

  • Bukchon Hanok Village (Pass By)

    A Korean traditional village in Seoul with a long history located on the top of a hill between Gyeongbok Palace, Changdeok Palace and Jongmyo Royal Shrine.

  • Gwanghwamun Gate (Pass By)

    The main and largest gate of Gyeongbokgung Palace, in Jongno-gu, Seoul, South Korea.

  • Changdeokgung Palace (Pass By)

    Set within a large park in Jongno-gu, Seoul, South Korea. It is one of the "Five Grand Palaces" built by the kings of the Joseon Dynasty

Another Excellent Secret Food Tour

A wonderful food tour of Seoul’s most delectable and distinctive dishes, from gimbap to tteok-bakki to mung bean pancakes, from bustling outdoor market stalls to refined teahouses. Our guide was very knowledgeable, personable and engaging; she offered interesting background on every food and locale we visited. (She even made an unscheduled stop at our request for some delicious fried chicken.) GREAT tour!

Food tours are always fun - this was no exception. Youla was a great host and we tried many different staples of Korean food. And always nice meeting new people all over the world. I enjoyed it very much, would do it again!

Absolutely amazing food tour! I’m so happy I got to try some traditional Korean delicacies and dishes. I particularly enjoyed the mandu, mung bean pancake, tteokbokki, fish soup and buttery salted bread. I loved Gwangjang Market and the traditional teahouse in Itsadong! Youla was such a lovely tour guide!! She took care of us and made everyone feel included. We learned many interesting facts regarding Korean culture from her! Also, she even walked me to my taxi at the end, which was incredibly kind of her. If you come to Korea, you must do this tour!

A lovely time spent with fellow travellers and a wonderful guide enjoying some amazing Korean cuisine. My favourite foods, as always, were the desserts, and our guide was super friendly and knowledgeable.
