The sloths play important roles in the diversity of ecosystem. Many of them have already suffered great losses from the ceaseless destruction of their habitats. Many are severely threatened and too many will soon be in danger of extinction if we do not confront the increasing threats facing them. For these reasons, we feel compelled to educate society to ensure their survival in this era. These mammals have incredible information about evolution, sustainability, and conservation to teach us about. Come and participate in this educational experience that will show you these animals in their natural habitat.

    Sloths represent one of the animals that people feel attacked to. But, why? These curios and arboreal mammals have incredible information about evolution, sustainability and conservation to teach us about. In our tour, we want to share our knowledge and experience from this species. Come and participate in this educational experience that will show you these animals in their natural habitat.

Sloth tour (private)

We chose to do the early morning sloth tour that started at 6am. It was a drizzly morning but we dressed appropriately so it wasn’t too bad for us. We did see people who did not have jackets and they were quite wet. The tour guide and driver were amazing at finding sloths in the trees. We were able to see both 2 toed and 3 toed sloths. The guides used their scopes to help us see a large male sloth and a female and her baby. It was a great tour that also included going to a restaurant for breakfast. The restaurant was situated alongside a forest area and there were tons of birds to watch while you ate.

We really enjoyed this informative and lively tour and learned a lot about animal rescue, rehabilitation and sustainability.

This sloth tour was informative and we were able to see a young sloth moving around! It was our best sighting of a sloth in our whole trip! Our guide was so knowledgeable and you could tell he truly loves and cares about preserving the wildlife of Costa Rica.

Frandel was incredible! Super friendly and so so knowledgeable. He was so thorough and you can tell he truly enjoys his job. Frandel was able to show us so much including sloths, frogs, an oil and an iguana. Highly highly recommend! Thank you Frandel for the incredible experience!

Nice project that really respect nature

Interesting tour to learn about sloth. Luckily we saw 2 sloths and toucans there . Johnny, as a biologist gave lots of explanations and we keep an excellent souvenirs of this tour .
