Cagliari in half a day

This was a great tour. We visited a winery and sampled some of their wines and local delicacies. Giuseppe gave us a detailed explanation of the wine making process and a history of the vineyard. The views were spectacular. Our small group was joined by another small group and all you could hear was laughter from a group of people that seemed as if we had been friends forever. Don’t miss this tour.

This was the most magnificent tour imaginable! Sardinia is a wonderful island and our guide was wonderful in explaining the many nuances and gems of Sardinian history and life. Highly recommended.

Best part of our visit to Cagliari

Our tour guide Franco was very informative about the area, and the vineyard owner Giuseppe pitched the information about the vineyard and the wine production process very much to what the group expressed an interest in. I think we tried 3 or 4 wines as well as the grappa that Giuseppe produces - I'm not much for grappa but very much enjoyed the wine! The views from the vineyard were absolutely beautiful, and the brunch they put on to accompany the wine tasting was really tasty, all local products including olive oil and olives from Giuseppe's groves and balsamic from his grapes. The star of the show was Giuseppe's dog Fly who accompanied us around the vineyard and fell asleep on one of the guests during the brunch - I think we ended up with as many photos of her as we did of the vineyard! Definitely the best part of our visit to Cagliari and would recommend to anyone who'll be in the area for a half day or longer.

An amazing trip with Franco. Spoke very good English and explained a lot of history of the island on the route to the vineyard. Very informative. The tour itself was amazing. We were lucky to have a small group of just 3 of us. Giuseppe again spoke very good English and explained the wine processes and the different challenges the vineyard faces to produce the wine. The food and wine was incredible. And it was lovely to sit and chat and learn about each other. All in all a lovely 4 hour trip and would highly recommend.
