Overview

Kilometers of coastline with breathtaking inlets, Caribbean panoramas, intense blue sea, golden beaches and thick expanses of Mediterranean scrub. These are the ingredients that make up the tour of the beaches in Villasimius. Southern Sardinia still remains one of the wildest, most uncontaminated and fascinating areas of Sardinia. We will visit and stay at 2 different beaches for about 2 hours per beach, where you can swim and sunbathe in total autonomy.

    First beach and first stop. Villasimius, a wonderful village in the south-eastern tip of Sardinia offers a variety of fantastic beaches (over 20) and all different for type of sand, crystalline sea beds and sheer cliffs. We will visit the first beach, Porto Giunco, also called the beach of the 2 seas, because there is a salt lake where pink flamingos live for years. Fine white sand and crystalline sea with shallow waters and uncontaminated nature. In addition there are all the services, such as bars, rental sup, umbrellas, deck chairs and w.c.

    Another beautiful beach in the protected marine area of Villasimius, with shallow water, white sand, crystal clear sea, complete with all services such as bar, restaurant and toilets.

Excellent tour guide who spoke with passion. Beautiful beaches that rival any beaches in the Caribbean that we have been too. The beaches have perfect sand and beautiful crystal clear waters. I would highly recommend this tour!

Stunning beach tours

Joseph was amazing, really friendly, and on time. This tour is worth seeing, especially if you're staying in the city as you get to see all of these three beautiful beaches. Each beach has a 2 hour stop and unique in their own way and very beautiful. The beaches covered are on the west side of the island. The drive was around 1 hr and very scenic. Joseph explained all the history about the places we drove past. The vehicle is air conditioned.

Kind service, memorable experience

Our experience on this tour was excellent, despite some unexpected weather. After making it to our first destination, a heavy storm began in Villasimius, and we decided to forgo the other two beaches for the sake of safety. Angelo offered to take us back to Cagliari where the weather was good and took us on a tour of the city instead. There we saw flamingoes, some beautiful vistas of the city and natural landscape, and the old town/Castello. Angelo was incredibly knowledgeable about the city's history and biodiversity, and he made the most of the day which had originally not gone to plan. We are thankful for his kindness in offering this alternative tour, for thinking on his feet, and attending to even the small details (like offering us umbrellas!). Since we only stayed in Cagliari for a handful of days, this change in schedule was a great way for us to get a feel for the city in a comprehensive way we may not have otherwise experienced. It should also be mentioned that the drive to Villasimius affords absolutely stunning views, and the beach we did see (Porto Giunco) was beautiful and worth the trip.

Was a fabulous trip,Joseph was brilliant. Sadly weather was not in our favour, torrential rain and curtailed our trip. However Joseph gave and asked us our decision at all points. He was fab, weather he can't control. He stopped enjoying route so I could take a photo of the pink flamingoes, and overall it was a great day

Such amazing landscapes! Superb visit, we enjoyed the amazing scenery and took lots of awesome pictures! The driver was super nice (big thank you for everything!) - highly recommended if you want to enjoy these extremely beautiful beaches!
