Cusco is not all about Machu Picchu and with this tour you’ll get to know another side of our history while getting to know the cultural evolution of the region. The South Valley of Cusco holds impressive pre-Inca, Inca, and colonial structures, complemented with beautiful natural landscapes. Here’s what you should expect:
• Explore Tipón, one of the most impressive agricultural and engineering examples of the Incas.
• Discover Pikillacta, a pre-Inca structure built by the Wari culture.
• Visit the San Pedro Church in Andahuaylillas, one of the most beautiful Chapels outside of Cusco.

Itinerary
Tipon
We’ll pick you up at your hotel in Cusco. Our first stop will be at Tipón. Here you’ll get to appreciate one of the most impressive agricultural and engineering examples of the Inca civilization. According to historians, Tipon could have been a royal hacienda with ceremonial and agricultural areas.

Piquillacta
Our next stop will be a pre-Inca structure built by the Wari culture. Here our guide will explain the origin and influence of the site on the Inca civilization and how it managed to inspire their constructions. There is no separate admission charge to get into Pikillacta. To visit the park, you must have the Cusco Tourist Ticket (Boleto Turistico).

Humedal Lucre-Huacarpay
We’ll continue to the Huacarpay lagoon, a beautiful natural scenery, located near Pikillacta. We’ll make a short stop here to get some fresh air and watch the birds that visit the lagoon.

San Pedro Apostol de Andahuaylillas
We’ll continue to Andahuaylillas, a town recognized for its beautiful colonial architecture. The San Pedro Church is the main attraction there, known for being a beautiful church structured with a unique baroque architecture and decorated with religious paintings and murals. Once we’ve finished with all the activities, we’ll return to Cusco. Drop off will be at your accommodation.

We went hiking! I saw too many rocks and mountains . Some of their rocks were to sit w/ bugs . Incas went made them. We were look as a group.
