If you love sunrises and you definitely have to experience the one at lake Morraine because it is totally different than in other places as the bright of the glaciers make it so special. The experience with Canmore travel was exceptional. Lenka was very nice and efficient arranging a different pick up as I had a problem in my first location. They were very puntual in the early pick up and my tour guide made the way to lake Morraine very short with nice conversation and a lot of interesting information about the area. They allow you 1h 30 minutes to be in the lake, enough time to enjoy the sunrise and explore around. They provide you with a blanket to keep you warm while you are waiting for the sunset and I was very grateful for that as it was really cold that day. Enjoying the sunrise in the lake is amazing as everyone is very quiet waiting for the sunrise and it is a really peaceful moment. Also the colors that you will see during the sunrise area totally different. If you wanna experience something different in the Rockies, I definitely recommended you the sunrise at lake Morraine and please book it with this amazing people!

The Sunrise tour with our tour guide Yannick was a great experience. Yeah you have to wake up really early, but it's definitely worth it. You get there before the huge crowds come in which is crucial, since the viewpoint of the lake is a single area that everyone shares. But most importantly, you get to see the morning sun rays hit the mountain range at dawn. It was great to be there and photograph. You also get enough time to wander and look around the area. Yannick was very kind, entertaining and shared multiple stories and relevant information throughout our trip. Would definitely recomment.

Small group is the way to do it. It gets really crowded with other large coach tourist buses. Our guide shared details about the area in depth- very personable. Strongly recommend this experience

We were driven by Yannick who was the best tour guide we've ever had. He shared information with us with remarkable enthusiasm (despite leading this tour on a daily basis). Super easy to talk to!!! We enjoyed the amazing sunrise after Yannick took us to the viewpoint and previewed the highlights. He left us to enjoy the sunrise and met us back at the van with hot chocolate.

Yanek was a fantastic guide! He is very knowledgeable about the area. He made sure everyone was comfortable and provided blankets for us. The Sunrise was beautiful!
