Port d'Alcudia

Have you ever wondered how it is to see the dolphins in their natural habitat having fun? We have a great boat tour so you can enjoy this once in a lifetime experience! The Alcudia Dolphin and Sunrise trip has: 1. Sightseeing: our captain will take you on the breathtaking route of the northern coast of Mallorca. 2. Dolphin watching: we give you a unique chance to see these amazing animals in their natural habitat. 3. Breakfast: enjoy your most important meal of the day accompanied by dolphins and beautiful sunrise

Cap de Formentor

Set sail by boat from the Port of Alcudia at sunrise to see magnificent colours of the sky and sea as the day slowly breaks. Watch as the ball of fire literally emerges over the sea on the horizon and lights up Alcudia Bay with a stunning glow. We will sail out of Alcudia Bay into the high seas where the dolphins can normally be found. We will search for dolphins on our boat trip and then, when we find them, we will turn off the engines and just enjoy the peaceful calm of the sea and nature. Watching dolphins swim, play and jump in their natural habitat is a magical experience not to be missed. Make sure you have plenty of storage on your camera - you'll need it! We maintain our distance from the dolphins, so as not to disturb them and you may see them from a distance or, as is often the case, they may come close to the boat to show off their acrobatic skills to the audience on board.

This was such a lovely experience, Had always dreamed of seeing the dolphins and this trip gave me exactly that. Its such a magical experience and the views are just spectacular. Definitly reccomend.

A magical experience...

Having been on whale watching trips before, we were somewhat skeptical of actually seeing dolphins... The early start also wasn't ideal for a holiday but walking to the port with the clear starlit skies was quite magical. The boats set sail around 5:45am and the dark skies had the faint glow on the horizon. The boats were nicely spaced - not cramped at all! The weather for our trip was just perfect... nearly fully clear skies and the magical transition from night to day was enough on its own to be impressed with the trip. The sunrise felt incredible to witness. When we arrived at the location, there were already several boats there and we could quickly see the majestic mammals dancing around the boats. On the one hand it felt disruptive for a commercial enterprise to be in their home, but quickly you could see the dolphins actually curious about us and wanting to play. If they didn't want to be there, they could have quickly moved away. About 10-12 dolphins swam around us as everyone on the boats snapped pictures... (Although almost impossible to get any good ones!) All in all, a very special experience. Worth noting that the crew were also very good too. A small number of people weren't feeling great on the boat and its fair to say, despite being calm and near perfect weather, there is still some rocking from side to side! If you suffer motion sickness, this probably isn't the trip for you! If you don't, then I'd highly recommend it! A breathtaking experience I'll never forget.

Sunrise dolphin watching boat trip - incredible!

I have been dolphin-watching in other countries before and had high hopes for this excursion - they were exceeded! The meeting point was clear and the boat turned up bang on time, everyone got on board safely and quickly with a smiley welcome from staff. There were a lot of people on board but plenty of space to move around still, and when we eventually got to the dolphins everyone was able to view them easily. Once near the dolphins the boat slowed down and the engine silent, minimising disturbance to them. We watched from afar and at some points they chose to swim up to the boat! The trip lasted 3 hours in total, with approximately 40 minutes with the dolphins. Beautiful views of Port D’Alcúdia and Menorca. Very pleasant staff. Absolutely worth the money and worth getting up early, I would recommend this to anyone interested in seeing these creatures in their proper habitat.

We saw the dolphins for around one hour. It's amazing how the organiser somehow knew where the dolphins are. Make sure you take warm clothes cause it's really cold in the morning. Amazing experience, would recommend.

Absolutely wonderful - worth every penny and getting up early! The trip was brilliantly organised and the dophins did not disappoint. A really uplifting experience!
