Watch seals dive and maneuver around and under your kayak as the sunsets and have surreal visuals of the seaward Kaikoura Mountains as the light changes towards the end of the day. Paddle gently along with them as they swim around the Kaikoura Peninsula hunting for their favorite feed of Octopus. But be sure to keep your distance as they devour their delicious dinner in front of you, then watch in amazement as for the light show in the bay. This adventure around the beautiful coastal waters takes in the breath-taking views of sheer cliff faces, craggy rocks and mountain ranges while searching for chance encounters with Dusky Dolphins and Blue Penguins. This fun tour is suitable for all ages and abilities and doesn't require any previous kayaking experience. These professionally guided kayaking expeditions adhere to the highest of safety standards. Brilliant from start to finish. The enthusiasm and passion of the whole team was infectious. The wind was up which meant for a more exciting trip. We saw seals, albatross, cormorants and much more. Emma our guide was very professional and so much fun. This is by far our most favourite kayaking experience!

What a beautiful evening kayak with a fantastic group and guides. Cam and Emma were outstanding with thier knowledge, humour and wildlife locating! Throw in the massive pod of dolphins playing around us and we had the prefect trip! Best kayak experience we have had in NZ and we have done a few! Thanks Emma, Cam and the Kaikoura Kayak team!

Safe, beautiful, fun. Celebrating wife’s birthday we booked this kayak adventure. The guides are pros and got us into a large school of Dusky Dolphins; they put on quite a show for us.

We booked this kayak tour for my wife’s birthday while visiting the South Island. The guides led us through a large school of dusky dolphins which was altogether awesome, spectacular, and magical. Our large group was broken up into smaller with an assigned guide; safety is a core value of this outfit. Our small group was led by a young man (Shelem) who guides in our home state, coincidentally, so that was pretty cool. Highly recommend this tour and this company for a great time on the South Pacific waters.

Our guides were professional and friendly. The equipment was in great shape. We were treated to an amazing evening paddling around looking at dusky dolphins playing around us, seals napping nearby, and an albatross soaring overhead. We had a great time!
