This was one of the best experiences of my 70 years on the planet. I've spent a lot of those years in the ocean and the 3 Islands Whale Shark Dive was one of the most memorable experiences I'd had. We were fortunate to have great conditions on the day which was made only better by the expertise and good humour of the crew. This is a very professional organisation staffed by people with great expertise and good humour. Special mention to boat's photographer Amy Beck for her amazing work - her water shots are a stunning reminder of how good the dive was.

This is a double header: I did the Whale Shark tour in March and the humpback whale tour in September. There must be 20 shops in Exmouth offering tours, but 3Islands is web based and has a distinctive name! The trips were both fantastic and super well organised - even the whales joined in! The boats are well appointed, the sealife contact protocols well explained, lunch is plentiful and wholesome, and the booking process simple. And you are collected from your accommodation. Brilliant days on the water and a reminder of the small part we humans play in Nature.

The whale shark tour is a must do while you are in Exmouth, it’s so worth all the attention it gets! We booked our tour in the beginning of september while we were already in Exmouth, which I would recommend during the shoulder season as there is still a lot of availability and you can choose your date based on the weather and swells. Or you can book your dates in advance and swap dates later when the weather is more predictable. The company helped us out in choosing the best day on the reef (awesome when you get seasick!!) and the whole day is just such a good experience from start to finish. We did both the humpback and whale shark tour with 3 islands (DO BOTH YOU WON’T REGRET IT!!) and loved it for many reasons including: - fun, young crew on both days - great food and snacks - good snorkels outside if the wildlife interactions - fantastic marine experiences!! DEFINITELY worth doing it in the shoulder season as well!! We got epic swims and the crew is just so eco-conscious and obviously cares deeply about the marine life. - great value for money. This was a fabulous day from the moment we were picked to. The crew were passionate about the marine environment and extremely knowledgeable while being so helpful especially to those who were nervous about entering the water. The lunch and catering were delicious. I cannot recommend this group any more highly. Loved it.

We had the most amazing day on our Whale shark tour. From the moment we were picked up from our hotel (bang on time!) to getting dropped off again we felt so looked after and the whole crew made sure it was a truly memorable day for all. We were on the Drawcard and everything was extremely well organised. Being just out of season, there was always the risk we wouldn’t get to see a whale shark but we were lucky enough to get in the water three times with one. Some of our group also got great photos with it. As well as the whale shark swim we did some fantastic snorkelling, seeing a huge pregnant stingray, a starfish, a huge groper and lots of beautiful colourful fish. Amazing memories made! Thanks so much to the whole crew for an awesome day out.
