On the corner of Hay St and Dixon St, near the Paifang Gate, Haymarket. We meet outside the Pub. (opposite Emperors Puffs) Your guide will be wearing a bright yellow Tshirt. Please aim to be there 15 minutes before the tour starts so that we can start on time.

    This Sydney food tour is a slice of history and culture, alongside deliciously diverse cuisine, telling the Aussie story of migration and settlement from the early days to the most modern times. This mouth-watering journey will visit hidden landmarks and share little known stories from the history of Chinese Australians. You will enjoy some of the best of Asian Australian cuisine, with origins from China, Korea, Thailand and Malaysia. You will beat the queues in Sydney's most popular Malaysian, and enjoy Sydney’s Chinatown classics, dishes include the best KFC (Korean Fried Chicken), handmade dumplings and noodles enjoyed by chefs on their days off, and a lotus shaped gelato beautiful enough to Instagram and delicious enough to win awards. I gifted my husband the Taste of Chinatown tour and we had a great experience. Our guide Albert was a pleasure to hang out with. His local knowledge and kindness made the tour very enjoyable. The food was delicious and plentiful. As a fairly regular visitor to the area, it was fun to discover more restaurants we didn't know about. The tea ceremony was amazing.

Fun and filling food tour. Noor did an excellent job We had some great dishes, met some fun people and got lots of advice where to go to eat in china town. There are so many restaurants there And it Can Be overwhelming. I think if we tried on our own we would have not found all The places we were taken to by Noor. Plenty of food- some really interesting hidden gems and art work. Definitely recommend!
