(The best places aren't easy to find on Google, trust us!) You'll see the food being prepared right in front of you, surrounded by locals enjoying their meals. It's more than just tasting - you'll see, smell, and fully immerse yourself in the flavors we grew up with. We'll teach you how to eat like a true Hanoian - whether on the sidewalk or on those tiny stools that look like they were borrowed from a kindergarten! We can't promise you'll love every flavor, but one thing is for sure: you'll come hungry and leave with a belly full of food, laughter, and memories to last a lifetime.

Best experience in Hanoi

The best tour I’ve ever been on!!! Amazing tour Guide and fantastic food, local and delicious! With 7 meals and drink at the end we were so full and happy that we tried many various dishes and even our kids tried everything and loved it ❤️❤️❤️

Great introduction to Vietnamese food

We had a great Taste of Hanoi tour with Milton and he took us to some places we would never have found as a tourist and we tried some food they we would never have been game enough to try. I can thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone coming to Hanoi.

We had such a fun morning mingling with the locals, tasty local foods and understanding the area and history. Linh was a fantastic host. This was in our top 3 highlights from our Vietnam/Cambodia 3 week trip. I would certainly recommend to my family and friends and hopefully one day return to do another tour, even the same tour as it was so much fun.

What a great adventure. This is so much more than a foodie tour! You will get a great insight to life in Hanoi, how the locals live and some history to boot. We had tastings from 7 different places over 4.5 hours. In a word BRILLIANT, we were not left wanting and there is nothing Linh could do better. We tasted great street food that we would never have known about (or been brave enough to order). We visited places down little lanes that you would never know would be eating houses (yummy Pho Bo - Pho) and made a great beef jerky papaya salad Hanoi style, tried Band day gio (Vietnamese mochi with beef sausage) and Banh cuon (steamed rice rolls) Delicious freshly cooked Vietnamese doughnuts (Banh ran) , iconic banana fritters (Banh chuoi) and two types of sweet soup (che) to finish off with Phin (filtered coffee). Linh definitely hit the mark with our brief of what we wanted to make this a personal and active experience. She also speaks great English, is great fun and is very passionate about her country and food (and she takes great photos too). This was the highlight of our 12 days in Vietnam. Our only regret? that we didn't do it earlier in our time in this country so that we could capitalise on our newfound information. if you are thinking about booking a foodie tour dont hesitate to contact Linh at Beyond Vietnam.
