On this tour we will drive North of Lisbon to discover the old routes and Identity of Portugal. It will pleasantly combine History, Culture and Identity. Great time with Gui!

We had a fantastic time with Gui. He gave us a wonderful and informative tour of Templar’s castle, took to an amazing traditional restaurant in Nazare and then walked to see some great waves and surfing. We than went to Obidos and walked the castle wall and went to a few shops. Overall great day and we did not feel rushed. Highly suggest walking the castle wall in Obidos if you’re able!

A spectacular day filled with historic and beautiful sites. 3 totally different experiences that are not to be missed when visiting Portugal. Having Joao, who is such a knowledgeable and engaging guide, made all of the difference. The Templar castle exposes you to 500 years of history recorded in the architecture of a single structure. Even if you miss the BIG waves at Nazare, it is worth seeing and learning about the phenomenon that enables the waves to occur. Obidos in addition to its history has delightful examples of local and traditional artisan works.

We enjoyed this tour very much. Our guide Gui was excellent in presenting the sites and the histories. Throughout the journey, he thoroughly covered the history of Portugal, its impact and connection to the world, and the the important events that lead to the current day Portugal.

Great day north of Lisbon

Great day trip with Guy. All three stops were fantastic in different ways. If you can physically walk the fort wall in Obidos, do so - great views! Guy was extremely knowledgeable, flexible with our wishes, and provided good recommendations on shopping inquiries. He didn't rush us at any of our stops which wound us running us late - no problem for us, but it was extra time added to his day. Enjoyed seeing countryside north of Lisbon for a different perspective of Portugal I would highly recommend this tour and the guide, Guy.
