  • Seats are assigned as general admission with a capactiy of 48 passangers per boat. Avaliablity will not be known in advance of the cruise time. Popeye operates on a 'first come first served basis'.
  • Subject to favourable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or time

Great little cruise

Very relaxing and the captain was very informative. A nice way to see Adelaide by water. Was also very easy to find.

Excellent Tour

We did the 45 minute sightseeing tour on the Torrens River. It was very entertaining and interesting. The commentary by James was informative and fun at the same time. As my first time in Adelaide it was a great way to get an overview of the city. Would thoroughly recommend & check out all the other fun tours they offer.

Morning river cruise

A lovely, relaxing cruise. We were lucky with the weather and the breezes were wonderful. This 45 min trip goes up to the weir, then back and up to the iron bridge and back to the dock. The commentary was both informative and amusing. No stuffy reciting of facts. You felt you were the first people being told a story. The scenery was pleasant from the cityscape, parkland and interesting architecture. Popeye is small but comfortable. Refreshments are available, tea, coffee, chocolate, soft and alcoholic. We chose just the cruise but morning tea, wine tasting or gin tasting can be booked. Booking online is easy and concessions are available.

Loved it was relaxing and informative. Crew very friendly and knowledgeable. Make you go to the loo though none on board boat and nothing near by.

This was a lovely, relaxing way to get to know Adelaide and a few fascinating snippets of its history. The commentary was informative and amusing and the staff made everyone feel welcome.
