A great variety of food and lots of history and background for each place and type of food. We had a great experience and our guide, Armando, was full of information and passion about the food and culture!

We had a great time. We got lucky enough to just have the guide to ourselves and he took us to some terrific places - places that he himself eats at even when he’s not leading a tour. That’s really saying something. He was friendly and taught us a lot, and the food was great. Definitely worth it!

The places that they take you are varied, interesting, and serve really great local food. We've done a lot of food tours throughout the world and I'd rate this #1 in terms of getting a sense of the local food and places. The only exception was dessert at the end. It's a popsicle from a stand. A local traditionally popsicle but still a popsicle. They need to change that one. But, I couldn't take off a star for that alone when the rest of it was so good. Our guide Armando was phenomenal. So interesting and engaging. I can't say enough good things about him. A+

We had a great time on the food tour with Gus! He was a wealth of knowledge about Tulum and some of the traditions and history. We went to spots we would have never visited. All the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Tulum. Do it early in your visit so you get to know the downtown area and know where to return on your own too!
