  • Chivay (Pass By)

    Los estaremos esperando en nuestra Oficina de Chivay, ubicada a un costado de la Iglesia en la Plaza principal de Chivay, de 12:30 a 1:10 pm. Estaremos saliendo de Chivay aproximadamente. 1:15 pm. En trayecto de Chivay a Puno haremos las siguientes paradas:

  • Abra Patapampa

    - “Mirador de los Andes”: Nos detendremos para observar los “Volcanes” Ampato, Sabancaya, Hualca Hualca, Mismi (fuente donde nace el río Amazonas) y la cordillera del Chila. También se pueden observar las “Apachetas” (en la antigüedad, los viajeros dejaban esas pequeñas torres de piedra como ofrenda a sus dioses).

    - Tocrapampa: realizaremos una parada técnica para observar a los camélidos sudamericanos Como: llamas y alpacas pastando en su habitad natural, con un poco de suerte observaremos a las vicuñas, auquénidos privilegiados por poseer las fibra más fina y costosa en la industriaría de la textilería

  • Patahuasi

    - “Patahuasi” (Pampa Cañahuas): Ubicada en la Reserva Nacional de Aguada Blanca, que se encuentra a espaldas del volcán Chachani, encontraremos vicuñas, llamas y alpacas, con mucha suerte a lo lejos podríamos observar zorros y guanacos. Lugar donde podremos degustar de bebidas calientes a base de hierbas naturales como chachacoma, muña; en este punto también podrán hacer uso de los SS.HH, además de poder comprar artesanías y souvenirs.

  • Laguna Lagunillas

    - “Lagunillas”: En este mirador se tiene una vista panorámica de los pequeños lagos que parecen ser espejos reflejando el cielo, también es el hábitat de los flamencos andinos y otras aves (según temporada), sin duda alguna, una gran oportunidad para tomar fotografías.

    Finalmente, llegaremos a la ciudad de Puno. Estaremos arribando a la ciudad de Puno al promediar las 7:00 a 7:30 pm. En caso su hotel este ubicado en el Centro Histórico de Puno es posible dirigirlo a su hotel

Bufrom Cabanaconde/Chivay to Puno

The only bus company offering a direct connection to Puno. There's one bus from Cabanaconde (9am, 180 soles) and another one from Chivay (1.15pm, 130 soles; you can get to Chivay from Cabanaconde by one of two bus companies or by taxi collectivo, all costs 10 soles but buses are slower). Another option is with one of agencies which offer rather a full day trip than just a transport, prices start from $45. It's cheaper to go to Arequipa (buses cost 25 soles) from where many buses depart to Puno (25-75 soles), but it'll double the distance. Native Express's bus is modern and comfortable (140 degree seats, toilet, USB plug) but if there's less than 18 people you will travel by minibus which, I suppose, isn't so comfortable. There's a guide on board and bus stops on three miradores on the way.

The tour e was perfect. We saw the most beautiful and important place of colca canyon firstly with a private tour driven by John and after with a community driven by Lisandro. Both very professional and friendly.

Great company if YouTube want a transfer frop thz Colca Canyon to Puno. Comfortable seats, great service and lots of extra info. You get for short stopages with amazing viewpoints. Definitly would recommend this company!

Trip Puno to Chivay

We did the tour Puno to Chivay. Excellent way to go to Chivay from Puno without passing through Arequipa if you want to go to the Colca Canyon directly. Very comfortable bus, with toilet. The trip is enriched thanks to our great guide Alessandro who gave us a lot of information ^^ thanks for the trip.
