Valley of the Nobles (Pass By)

In the morning your friendly guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor by an air-conditioned vehicle to first enjoy a fully guided tour to the Valley of the Nobles. Although very small in size, these tombs include some of the most beautiful paintings of the Theban tombs. The preservation of color remains astounding. Here, you will visit the two most beautiful tombs: The Tomb of Nakht and the Tomb of Menna.
Valley of the Artisans (Deir el-Medina) (Pass By)

Second, you will visit the Valley of the Workers (Deir el-Medina). This is the place where the workmen of the royal tombs used to live. Here you will see the Temple of Deir el-Medina, which was dedicated to the goddess Hathor. This is the only temple in all of Egypt where you can admire carvings of the Final Judgement. At every site, you will get information from your Egyptologist tour guide and you will get free time to explore the ancient monuments by yourself.

Karnak & Luxor Temple Tour.

Our guide was Sayed and we couldn't have wished for better company to lead us through millenia of Egyptian history and legend as we toured the temples of Karnak and Luxor. Sayed made us feel as we were in the company of an old friend but one who was an expert on Egyptology. Highly recommended.

Great tour, first rate guide, but an additional excursion left us with a bad taste

What you see on this excursion is breathtaking and good value for money. The guide Ahmed Abdallah was first class. His passion and delivery of what we were looking at was excellent. Off the back of this first rate tour we decided he was worth spending a further two days exploring Valley of the Kings one day and Dendera the next. Charge for KV for 2 people was $80 starting at 7am and back by 1pm. This seemed fair and his delivery and beating the crowds was good. Dendera the charge was $160 for 2 people starting at 6am, back by 11am. The temple was definitely worth seeing. Whilst it’s an hour’s drive to Dendera from Luxor I’ll leave you to decide whether it was fair value for money. We didn’t, so be warned. A great great shame considering Abdul is first rate.

Excellent tour, careful of alabaster shop

Excellent tour, very knowledgeable guide. Went to many more tombs that were not expected. However, be wary of the alabaster shop. Like many other tours, they will push you to buy items at inflated prices and force tips. Definitely do the tour - avoid the alabaster shop.

This was one of the best tours we did while in Luxor. Our tour guide, Karam, was very knowledgeable and charismatic - we learned a lot! Many tour groups overlook these places, but they really shouldn't be missed. Thank you to Karam for making the day so enjoyable!
