Overview

Enjoy the Panoramic Venice islands tour: an excursion to see the islands in all their beauty. After a fascinating boat ride in the Lagoon dominated by nature, you will stop in Murano, the glass island, known throughout the world for its glassmaking art. You will visit a Furnace, where you will admire a glass blowing demonstration and learn about the ancient glass-blowing technique. The tour will then continue towards Burano, the jewel of the Venetian Lagoon, famous all over the world for its lacemaking and for the brightly colored fishermen’s houses. The last, but not the least is the quiet and sparsely populated island of Torcello, the first center of civilization in the estuary. On these island you can admire the oldest churches of the lagoon and discover how Venice was born! You will come back to the islands crossing all the lagoon admiring the fascinating St. Mark’s Basin from the boat.

  • Laguna di Venezia (Pass By)

    A qualified tour guide will reveal some curiosities about the island and explain its interesting history while you enjoy the wonderful landscape sitting on a comfortable Grand Tourism motor-boat.

  • Isola di Murano

    The first destination is Murano, famous worldwide for its glass-blowing art. You will visit a real furnace and see a local artisan create glass artworks using antique techniques. During the visit, you will have the opportunity to buy an authentic Murano glass souvenir.

  • Burano

    IF OPTION IS SELECTED - Next, this tour will take you to Burano, the island celebrated for its lace-making tradition and for the multi-colored houses. Get off the boat and, after a few meters, you will be in the magnificent main Square of the island. On the right side of the Square, you will see San Martino’s Church which houses the “Crucifixion” painting by Tiepolo, and the famous leaning tower. Walk along the narrow streets and picturesque canals of the island, buy lace products to keep as special mementoes of this experience or go into a pastry store and try local sweets– the “Bussolà” and the “Esse” biscuits.

    IF OPTION IS SELECTED - Admire Torcello, the first center of civilization in the estuary. On these island you can admire the oldest churches of the lagoon and discover how Venice was born!

What a beautiful tour! Burano is simply amazing wit all the colourful houses and I loved the glass blowing in murano. Will definitely come back

We were scared how this trip would go but it was absolutely Okay. Not so many people on board, enough time to see Islands. To see Torcello was the only thing I would skip on this trip but at the end it was at least nice walk. Very nice day after all!

I have to congratulate Viator on another great trip this time took us to Murano for the glass, Torcello for the first settlement and Burano for the colours. If we ever come back to Venice one day we will use Viator. All the instructions for meeting points were perfect. Thank you.

Very nice tour of these old islands. Murano and Burano are beautiful with wonderful traditions. Torcello was also beautiful but not much to look at.
