I visited ROAM on September 18th, 2024 with my brother and sister-in-law. We did the
"Tallest in Utah" Via Ferrata & Rappelling along with a fourth person that was grouped with us. It was absolutely phenomenal!!! I am into this kind of thing so the climbing, harness wear, carabiner usage and rappelling is stuff I have done before. My brother and his wife were brand new to it but that didn't slow them down one bit. Our guide, Ken, provided a few key instructions and then we set off on the 1,000-foot climb, which was done across various sections of the mountain face. After a bit of a hike, we then repelled down 4 sections, totalling about 500 feet (the rest we hiked down between the rapelling sections). The whole thing took us 3 hours and it was a blast! Glad we did the 10 am morning session because in the afternoon, the sun just bakes the side of the mountain during the summer. All in all, would highly recommend this, even if you have zero experience. I plan to come back and do some of their canyoneering trips.
