Overview

Olympic National Park is well known for having several different ecosystems to explore: subalpine forest, wildflower meadows, temperate rain-forest, and the rugged Pacific Shore. This twelve hour tour allows you to sample each of these systems with the added advantage of having an experienced guide to answer any questions that may arise. Come explore tide pools along the coastal beaches, roam among old-growth forest, trek atop mountain ridges with breathtaking vistas and stand by glacier-birthed rivers and lakes. The tour begins on a leisurely ferry boat ride over the Puget Sound to the Olympic Peninsula. The exact itinerary will be curated by the tour guide however our first stop will usually find us at Hurricane Ridge where you will hike to an incredible view of the valley below and the snow-capped mountains in the distance. We will move on to Crescent Lake and the seasonally Sol Duc Valley, and a sandy beach along the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Please plan on walking six miles.

The schedule is based off the guides experience with weather conditions and what is accessible in the park the day of your tour. Your tour guide will provide you with an outline of the day upon pick up.

Kevin (our guide) went above and beyond to give us the best experience. We experienced several trails and sites. We enjoyed this trip. He gave us lots of information to each area. He added humor and tips throughout the day!

It was absolutely amazing!! So magical even with the rain that we had. Our tour guide Kevin, was super welcoming and was very prepare and handed out ponchos and umbrellas to those that needed. Very knowledgeable on everything and takes the best pictures so ask him to take your pictures

Had an absolutely amazing time on this tour! Olympic national park is breathtaking. Nice walks with lovely views. The rainforest was incredible! Kevin was friendly, knowledgeable and an all round wonderful tour guide. Absolutely fantastic! Tour company is amazing used them a few times this trip and customer service is also great! A must do if you’re in Seattle

Our tour guide was Kevin, he was very professional and well informed. We had a wonderful day trip to Olympic national park, we saw all the highlights and our itenary was adapted based on the weather conditions. I wanted to see hurricane ridge but weather was not looking good however Kevin saw a window of opportunity for us to avail and made it happen. I would highly recommend this tour as it was a scenic tour with stunning views. Thank you to Kevin for a memorable tour.

Kevin! While the tour and stops themselves were wonderful, Kevin brought life to the whole experience. His knowledge and stories he shared during the drives and hikes were educational, fun, and hilarious. Kevin kept our group on track without rushing anyone, gave pointers for great views, and was an overall amazing guide. At the end of the day driving back to Seattle, he let us know the ferry was late and we could make a pit stop at the beach to watch the sunset. Highly recommend!
