Amazing experience

Our experience with Chrystelle, Carol and the crew was amazing from start to finish. Both Chrystelle and Carol are clearly incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, with so much information and experience to share. We were fortunate to witness four very active humpback whales (full breaches), sea lions and eagles. Thank you for an amazing experience.

Experience of a lifetime!

This tour was AMAZING! Even though January isn't the best time, we had the most astonishing luck: orcas to the left and right of the boat, a humpback whale that spent about an hour circling the boat and did several dives and a full breach for us, a huge group of adult bald eagles, plus harbor porpoises, harbor seals, and both California and Stellar sea lions. The guides were informative and friendly, the captain was sure-handed, the on-board photographers captured some incredibly gorgeous photographs, and the boat was comfortable and cozy, even on a really cold day. Cannot recommend this highly enough!

The highlight of 2024, what a great way to end the year , seeing the eagles, Biggs killer whales, humpback whales , sea lions and seals. The crew Captain Joe, Jo-Anne, Tom and Val were gracious hosts and shared so much knowledge about the area, sea life and ecosystem. Seeing the whales was surreal. The sheer size and grace the humpback whales had was so majestic . Something I will always be grateful for. nanaskomtin (Cree for “I am grateful”)

The four of us understood that luck would play a part in what we were able to see, especially in midwinter, but the expertise of Captain Joe and the enthusiasm and knowledge of Sam and Tom, our guides, were exceptional. We were told before the cruise began what we might see at this time of year, and we were lucky enough to see everything on the list: orcas, a humpback whale, harbour porpoise, sealions (both California and stellar), harbour seals, and bald eagles, as well as many seabirds. To our great good fortune and appreciation, the humpback breached right in front of the boat, and circled around for a considerable time. Nothing felt rushed: we were guided on how to observe, and were able to take the time to enjoy the experience. All our questions were answered expertly. We agreed that it was an amazing experience. I have been on one whale-watching cruise previously (not in Victoria) and this one was superior in every way.
