Dressed in historical costumes and wigs, the Vienna Mozart Orchestra re-creates the 18th century in this historic concert hall - it's the perfect way to enjoy a little Mozart while you're in Vienna!

    Ticket vouchers need to be exchanged at the evening box office in the foyer of the concert venue. It is recommended to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the begin of the concert.

The charm of Mozart's music

The Wiener Mozart Concerts are the second-best option for all those who cannot attend the New Year's Concert in Vienna. They are held regularly. Nevertheless, we had to buy our tickets well in advance. When we arrived at the Musikverein, there were many spectators from all over the world — almost a full house. Both the compositions, the musicians and the soloist were excellent! They were wearing periodic costumes - a nice touch. It is hard to choose a composition or two we liked the most, but we have to mention the Ouverture from the Le Nozze di Figaro and the first movement of Symphony No. 40. To the delight of the audience, there were two Bis compositions! After the full program of Mozart's masterpieces, the orchestra performed the waltz An der schönen blauen Donau by Johann Strauss Junior and the Radetzky March by Johann Strauss Senior! Needless to say, the atmosphere was festive!

Amazing venue, historical building. Starts late so make sure you're not too tired you may be lullabied to sleep very relaxing music

Fun experience in Vienna!

This was a wonderful experience! The music and entertainment were great. The only downside is that the floor chairs are all on the same level, without an incline. Unfortunately, this arrangement can obstruct the view if you have someone tall in front of you. I would still highly recommend this venue and concert to anyone!
