Overview

In this tour, you will visit Nagoya’s three major sightseeing facilities very efficiently with a professional guide in one day. The amount of time spent at each location might be a bit shorter than the ones in our other tours, however, you will make the most of your time in Nagoya! All three of these sites will show you the excellence of “crafting and manufacturing”. At Honmaru Palace in Nagoya Castle, you’ll be embraced by the art of Samurai times here and there in the architecture. At the Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology, you’ll learn why the Central Japan area is known for manufacturing because of the Toyota Company. At the end of the tour, you’ll learn how the Japanese railway system has been developed as one of the top technologies in the world.

  • Nagoya Castle

    Nagoya Castle was built in 1610 by Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu. Ieyasu is a samurai who completed the unification of the country to finish the battle era and became the first shogun of Edo Government that lasted for 260 years.

  • Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology

    This is where Toyota was started by Sakichi Toyoda as a Spinning and Weaving Company. The company’s studious, challenging, kaizen (striving for improvement), and creative spirit led the country to a big “manufacturing” nation and this world-famous company means a lot to locals in Nagoya region.

  • SCMAGLEV and Railway Park

    This is the museum where you can see the history as well as the latest technology of railways. You will be impressed not only by the number of successive trains, but also by the passion of technical experts that made our country famous for accurate and high speed Shinkansen (bullet train). Finally, you will learn how MAGLEV (magnetic train) will be operated that will start running between Tokyo and Nagoya soon in 2027.

Excellent, luxurious, tented property

The unique tented experience. The outstanding level of genuine hospitality. The efficient management by Abhiraj and Lovleen. All these make Trees & Tigers a wonderful place to stay at Tadoba. I went first in August 2024, then in November 2024 and am going again in January 2025. I highly recommend Trees & Tigers to all who wish to have an exhilarating experience at Tadoba. Abhiraj and Lovleen are expert naturalists too with a detailed knowledge of the forest. It is a pleasure to have them on safaris.
