Join us on our Old Town Tour to enjoy the beautiful island of Gamlastan and understand why the Vikings chose this island to create their next capital. Our tour is designed chronologically so you can experience history just like the city did. We will start from the Viking Era, the German influence in the country and the Danish clash which led to the most important Swedish event: the Stockholm bloodbath in 1520 followed by the succession of Gustav Vasa. Zoe was our guide for this tour and her knowledge and sense of humour made it a wonderful experience. She pointed out relevant points of interest, including architecture, historical landmarks and eateries. The tour was well paced, providing opportunities to sample local wares and ask questions. Highly recommended as a way to gain a better understanding of how Stockholm and Sweden developed.

This tour was very informative and interesting. Aggie is a fantastic and very friendly guide. She makes the tour very fun, answered all of the group’s questions and provided great recommendations for things to so in Stockholm and in Sweden generally. I ‘d highly recommend the tour.
