Overview

Cool off at Blizzard Beach, a thrilling 66-acre water park inspired by the mythical tale of a ski resort that melted into warm, soothing waters. Speed down the slopes of Mount Gushmore on one of the world’s tallest and fastest free-fall waterslides or relax as you float along the tranquil lazy river or unwind on a pristine white-sand beach. Younger visitors under 48 inches can enjoy their own snow-themed play area, complete with a snow-castle fountain and kid-sized waterslides. Ride Summit Plummet and drop 12 stories almost straight down or Toboggan Racers where you can race with 7 others down the waterslide. Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park

Currently Closed: Plunge into a tropical paradise brimming with fun for everyone! Dive into North America’s largest wave pool, where the surf is up all day long! Dive down Mount Mayday on Humunga Kowabunga, through darkness until you reach the exit! Grab a 4-person raft and slide down Miss Adventure Falls with family and friends. Hold on tight as you spy precious artifacts collected from all around the globe. For the little squirts, Ketchakiddee Creek is perfect for them to plash around all day at this water wonderland designed just for them! Food and beverage stations are located throughout the park and offer guests an opportunity to fill up on delicious sandwiches, ice cream, drinks and more!

Lovely day out

Really enjoyed this day. Stayed from opening to close. Treated ourselves to a Cabana. Service was exceptional and the sharing platters available to cabana guests were really good value. Lovely setting, very chilled out. Great slides for older kids. Little ones loved the lazy river and splash park.

A great couple of days in the water parks

We booked a cabana for both day which was $340 dollar but this gave us a base with a safe, unlimited free drinks all day, towels and the services of a concierge who would get food and bring it to us if we wanted to order it. The park itself is well laid out with loads of rides. We managed to get 3 water rides done within the first 20 minutes before moving over to the huge wave pool which was great fun. After this we hit the drop slides which were good although a bit warm under foot getting up to them. We then went and did the 3 medium slides that are all together and managed to get these down in under 30 mins. A few circuits of the lazy river before lunch and we order the nachos which came with a plethora of side bits which we took home for evening meals for the next few days. Post lunch we did the larger water ride before more time on the lazy river interspersed by body surfing in the wave pool. A much more fun and relaxed vibe than volcano bay and a better experience

Great day at typhoon lagoon! I would day it's mostly geared towards younger kids but a beautiful park. The lazy river is looong and fun. The wave pool is awesome. The slides for older kids are fun too. My 5 yr old went on the tube ride in the kiddie area over and over again. We arrives before 10 which was great because we got seats and there were no lines. A storm came in around 2;45 but we felt we got our money's worth.

Don’t sleep on Disney’s water park

We have done the Disney parks multiple times, but this was the first time at their water park. It was amazing time. While we typically do Volcano Bay, this was not as high intensity as Volcano Bay. It was very kid friendly, but still thrilling even for the teenagers. The wave pool send out giant waves every 90 seconds and I am not lying when I say GIANT! It will knock you over. Never waited more than 15 minutes on a Saturday in July. We did “rope drop” and rode everything in the park by 1 pm including the wave pool and lazy river a few times.

Great waterpark

Typhoon Lagoon is a great park. Parking is free and everything is clean. Great slides: Adventure Falls, Crush n gusher, Gangplank Falls and Mayday Falls.
