Overview

Take part in this experience and discover our farmhouse and our winery. We will start by visiting our Moscato di Trani vineyard a few steps from the property. We will present the peculiar characteristics and history of Apulian viticulture in the Itria Valley. At the end we will taste 4 of our wines and we will tell you their story and how they were born: - "Terra Viva", still red wine of Nero di Troia, IGP Puglia 13% vol .; - "Pietra Viva", still white wine from Verdeca, IGP Valle d'Itria 12% vol .; - "1 ° Luglio", still rosé wine from Nero di Troia grapes, IGP Puglia 12.5% vol .; - "Pietro 60", still dry white wine from Moscato di Trani grapes, IGP Puglia 12.5% vol. We will accompany everything with a taste of our products homemade. We are waiting for you in our farmhouse, we are waiting for you at Trulli il Castagno!

Itinerary

We will walk in our vineyard and we will tell you the story of the wine in the Itria Valley and of the processing phases. At the end we will taste 4 of our wines overlooking the Itria Valley or in our stone tavern, each accompanied by an Apulian appetizer.

Highky recommended (but don't go hungry haha)

It was a great experience. You get to know a bit of how they produce their wine, which is fantastic, you walk a bit in the vineyard and then you get the tasting. The food is really small portions of snacks (bread, fritatta, focaccia and some meats). The tasting in general is really good and generous, you get to know the people around you, the sunset, the little lights and the setting. I would recommend this plan to anyone, I'm travelling solo and was great to meet new people. Went in late september and it was a bit cold in the evening, but they provided blankets, which was awesome.

What an amazing evening!!! Vincenzo was an incredible host and very patient and friendly with everyone. The atmosphere was brilliant as we two Aussies joined people from all over the world to share wine, some lovely snacks and more importantly, conversation and cultural exchanges!

What a fantastic experience we had a great night. Lorenzo and his brother were great hosts, and informative we learnt a lot about the wines they produce. The night was pleasant and the group of people on our table were fun, we have already recommended this to friends who have also been and thoroughly enjoyed the night.
