The use of optics such as binoculars and spotting scopes makes for incredible and personal moments of connection with this wild place.   • Paradise Valley

    Paradise Valley runs north-south, bordered on the north by the town of Livingston, MT and on the south by Gardiner, MT. The valley lies between the Gallatin Range to the west and the Absaroka Range to the east. It is also a major corridor of the Yellowstone River and is home to diverse flora and fauna as well as geological wonders. Our safari makes a stop here in search of wildlife. Your guide will educate you on the historical or geological significance of your stop.

  • Mammoth Hot Springs

    Mammoth Hot Springs is a collection of thermal features at the north entrance of Yellowstone National Park. It is best known for the travertine terraces that form from mineral deposits, but there are many other observable geothermal features in this area. The algae living in the pools creates the distinct brownish, reddish colors. Our safari makes a stop here. Your guide will educate you on the historical or geological significance of your stop.

    The Yellowstone River originates in the Absaroka Range at the Continental Divide and flows north through Yellowstone National Park and Paradise Valley before heading east across the plains of Montana and eventually flowing into the Missouri River. It is a large-volume river, fed by several tributaries on its journey eastward. The river provides habitat for many species in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem and is known for its excellent trout population. Our safari makes a stop here in search of wildlife. Your guide will educate you on the historical or geological significance of your stop.

    The Albright Visitor Center, located in the northern region of Yellowstone, is housed in a historic structure that originally served as quarters for cavalry troops charged with protection of the park prior to the creation of the National Park Service. Our safari makes a stop here. Your guide will educate you on the historical or geological significance of your stop.

    The Roosevelt Arch, built in 1903, is constructed of hexagonal blocks of columnar basalt and stands 52ft (16m) high. The arch stands at the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park in Gardiner, MT. The original conception was to provide a grand entrance to the world's first National Park but subsequent features were never installed and the official park entrance was relocated south of Gardiner. The arch itself remains standing and is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Our safari makes a stop here. What an experience!

Our recent Winter Wildlife Tour with the Yellowstone Safari Group far exceeded our expectations! Our guide Grant made the trip exceptional for my wife and I. He was knowledgeable, patient, and enthusiastic. He could not have worked harder to ensure that had a great experience. We saw all the wildlife we were hoping to see and enjoyed two hikes during our three day trip. The SUV was very comfortable, food and lodging were certainly above average. Well worth the money! I would highly recommend this group to anyone.

Had an epic day seeing the beauty that is Yellowstone NP. Our guide Gabrielle was absolutely amazing. Her deep knowledge and passion for the park made it so enjoyable. I can’t recommend her Yellowstone Safari enough for their professionalism and curated experience.

Well worth it! Amazing way to see the park with an awesome tour guide who was so knowledgeable about the park and animals. We saw and learned so much that would not have been possible in just 1 day. Loved every minute of it!

I’ve been waiting to give my review. This tour was AWESOME! We truly had an incredible tour. Since there were only the 2 of us on the tour, it was customized to us, and it was almost like a girls weekend. Our tour guide was phenomenal. She took us to all the right places to see Bison, Bears, Elk, and the waterfalls were absolutely beautiful. She was very polite and knowledgeable. We had the best time.

It is hard to imagine better service on this trip. Prompt pick up in a clean, well stocked vehicle, snacks, beverages spotting scopes and a guide (Kelsey) who was deeply knowable about the geology, locations and wildlife in the park/. Having a guide is the best way to maximize your experience.
