Overview

Learn to cook authentic Thai cuisine and immerse yourself in Thai food culture during this 4 hour unforgettable experience. You will visit the famous seaside town of Hua Hin's 100-year-old fresh food market - Talad Chat Chai. Prepare and cook 4 delicious Thai classics with the help of your friendly and knowledgeable instructors. Deepen your knowledge of Thai food and ingredients in the relaxing surrounds of a traditional Thai teak house. Dishes you will learn and cook: - Make Panang Curry Paste - Gaeng Panang Gai (Panang Curry with Chicken) - Laab Moo (Spicy North-Eastern Style Pork Salad) - Pad Krapow Gai (Stir Fried Chicken + Holy Basil) - Thub Tim Krob (“Red Rubies Dessert” – Water Chestnut + Coconut)

Free pickup and drop off to hotels within the city area is inclusive of the class fee. Meeting points

The Clocktower is a meeting point where most hotel shuttles pick up and drop off. There is a Starbucks coffee adjacent and Hua Hin Temple is opposite. It is located at the junction of Petchkasem Rd and Naebkehardt Rd. The driver will be wearing a black polo shirt with the cooking school logo.

This activity ends back at the meeting point.

Itinerary

Welcome to our Cooking School. It is setup as a typical traditional Thai teak house. There are numerous areas to relax, many Asian antiques and a Koi pond with 20 year old Koi. This is where you will prepare, cook and enjoy your delicious Thai dishes.

Super Fun & learning mad Skills at the same time! From the pick up on you notice that this is full on professional. The tour around the fresh market was fun and really interesting. You‘ll get to know and see and shop all ingredients for your todays menu. After getting all ingredients (or all fresh needed once) you will be transferred to the cooking school which is really pretty. All staff are super friendly and funny. Shortly after arriving we straight started preparing for the first dish. We got to know a lot of tips and stuff about thai Cousine ingredients. Our menu was. Penang Curry Chicken Laab Moo - Pork Salad Pad Thai Ruby red (Water Chestnut and Coconutcream) Everyone in the group got to taste the result of their work. I can only speak for myself and my cooked food but i really enjoyed it! Its was big fun. Sad i didn’t book one or 2 courses more! Thank you!!!!

Incredible Cooking Course

This Thai cooking course was truly an incredible experience! I wanted to book my husband and I an experience while we were vacationing in Hua Hin. This was such a fun experience that my husband still talks about it. Beau first took us to the local day market where she showed us ingredients that Thais purchase and use at home. Afterwards, she had our group prep ingredients that we would use in the dishes we were to make. She guided us through each step and thoroughly explained how and why the ingredients were prepared a specific way. She answered any questions we had. She was very organized and the course ran very smoothly. We would highly recommend this cooking course to anyone who wants an extraordinary experience in Hua Hin. Warning: do not eat beforehand. The flavorful food you make will be very filling!

A fun morning. Very well organised - if only I had an army of helpers like this to do all my clearing up and washing up at home! Bo was lovely and explained everything very clearly. The food we made was delicious.

Great experience. Fantastic way to learn about Thai cooking

This is a must-do if you have time when in Hua Hin. We were picked up and then joined others at the local food market. We walked round learning about the different foods and what they are used for - how to select fresh fish, what makes a good curry paste.... We then drove to the cookery school. A beautiful tranquil place with a lovely courtyard with koi. We cooked 4 dishes in all with our Chef Beau talking us carefully through what to do. After each dish was cooked you then go and eat it so come hungry. Everything was so fresh and because you make it (under watchful eyes) tastes amazing A great way to spend the morning. Thank you to the team
