Overview

Only 20 minutes from San José Downtown, enjoy the majesty of the Rain Forest at the Carpintera Hills, gliding between trees hanging from steel cables . All along the travel through the forest reserve you will be able to watch sloths, birds and an exuberant flora . You will also be able to enjoy a panoramic view of the Central Valley, Poás Volcano and Irazú Volcano, and the Tres Marías Hills. The Canopy Tour includes 3 acivities: a short hike (15 minutes), 19 platforms, 13 cables, the longest cable has a length of aprox. 1500 ft (500 meters), and 2 rappels (40 & 10 meters).

The best day we had in Costa Rica! We met at the local steak house and went on a 20 minute hike up the mountain. Our guides made it so much fun! They have bags that you can carry your personal items. The views were incredible and the guides take pictures for you which you can purchase afterwards for a reasonable price. Highly recommend!

Ian and Gabriel made it so fun!! We felt as though we were in good hands. Ian even went as far as taking an amazing video for us while he went down the line!! Would absolutely do this again!

A great experience, the climb up was a little difficult for me being 61 years old, and not in the best shape, but the guide Diego was patient and stayed with me, as i climbed up in my own slow pace, the view and thrill of zip lining was amazing. the other guides Ian was also very friendly. overall a great experience. highly recommend.

This is a must do when visiting San Jose ! Diego and all the other tour guides stressed safety and fun and were very personable which made the whole experience a 10/10!

We had a wonderful day ziplining with the fantastic crew at La Carpintera. The guides were amazing and we had a blast. There were a couple of people who were quite nervous and Diego, Ema and the rest of the guys made everyone feel comfortable and safe. Highly recommend!
