We had a thoroughly enjoyable day. We had a couple of families with children aged from 9 to 12 and we booked the tour to break up a week of skiing in Nozawan Onsen. We were originally unsure whether to just visit the snow monkeys or whether to do the full day of activities but I'm glad we did the full day. Peter was a very personable and knowledgeable guide who went out of his way to make sure we were all having a good time and to help us appreciate what we were seeing. One of our group is coeliac and their lunch was specially catered to make sure they didn't miss out on the excellent meal.

Great day out with a fantastic guide and safe driver. Lunch was very tasty too! The guide was very knowledgeable and shared information in an easy going manner.

5/5 loved it as a solo trip, but in my tour there were mainly families too, so I think for all types of groups it can be fun! I also really enjoyed how we got a good mix of free time and guided explanation time. Peter made a point of letting us know all the key information with some added fun bits, and then releasing us to set our own pace. I recommend to anybody looking to hit the main spots in nagano, Peter really made the tour fun and educational.

Best day! Exceeded our expectations! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and super friendly. We really loved how smoothly the tour went, pick up & drop off was great & on time, the Snow monkeys were amazing a real site to see, the lunch was delicious and a fun experience cooking our own Japanese hot pots at the table was very special. Can't recommend enough, great tour will tell friends this is a must do!

Loved every aspect of this tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and catered the tour to our group. Highly recommend to anyone thinking about doing the snow monkey tour.
