Great 10 day Peru experience

While we had different guides for different portions of the 10 day trip, each guide made sure we got information in English as the rest of the group was Spanish speakers. All guides were very knowledgeable and welcoming. Our Arequipa/Colca Canyon made sure we knew our options for altitude sickness well before we got to the 16,000 ft peak. At Machu Picchu, the guides regrouped us so that we were in an English only group for our 2 hour tour. We were very happy with the hotel choices, lunch buffets, and all of the transfers we used. Vipac often used WhatApp to communicate next day pickups and events which was appreciated. We had several people with us for the entire trip and we became friends- they really helped us with translation. My only suggestion is that if possible, try to reduce the number of hotels used so that we don’t have to spend so much time in the van waiting on others. In Cusco, this was a concern especially due to the traffic.

12-day Peru trip

It was a pleasure to travel with vipac travel. Our trip to Peru was customized with advice and assistance from Mr. Paulo Romero who responded to all our queries in a professional manner and of great help for us. We covered Lima, Arequipa, Colca Canyon, Puno, Titicaca lakes, Cusco, Machu Picchu (with two-day short Inca trail) and Rainbow mountains. The entire trip was organized in such a way we could not ask for more. The meet and greet at airports and transfer to hotels was perfect. The hotels booked for us were very good and no complaints. All the guides were professional, and the tours were conducted in English to our satisfaction. The short Inca trail was conducted in a superb manner with the guide, Mr. Hugo explaining minute details and encouraging. We are 60+ with some prior trekking experience and enjoyed the trek. The visit to Rainbow Mountain was cancelled due to disturbances there. However, the company organized an alternate visit to Palcoyo triple Rainbow Mountains, which was outstanding, and we thoroughly enjoyed. Some of the guides were outstanding, Miss Milei stood apart with exceptional clarity and communication during our Colca canyon trip. Overall, the entire trip was conducted well our expectations, and we thank you all from vipac, in particular Mr. Paulo Romero and Ms. Carolina Valeriano, both were excellent communicators and provided timely help.

The trip was phenomenal! It's a once in a lifetime trip. Everyone should do the trip. Vipac is an amazing company. They planned our trip from beginning to end and couldn't have been better.
