I had an incredible experience on the AM food tour with Lima Gourmet today. Our guide, Silvia, was excellent—she speaks fluent English, has a deep knowledge of Peruvian food, culture, and history, and you can tell she has a broad understanding of the world. Her insights made every stop even more special. The car was spotlessly clean, and we had free bottled water throughout. Jesús, our driver, was extremely safe and very friendly, making the whole experience smooth and comfortable. The food stops were well-curated and provided a true taste of Peruvian culture and flavors. We started the day with organic coffee and a sandwich, followed by a lucuma milkshake, a delicious introduction to Peru’s superfruit. The visit to the local market was filled with fresh produce and interesting insights. Later, we enjoyed an interactive ceviche and pisco sour preparation, which was both fun and informative. The tour ended with a tasting of Peruvian dishes, accompanied by an unexpected but excellent orange wine. Every stop was thoughtfully chosen, and the experience felt authentic and immersive. I would give 10 stars if I could. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lima and wanting to explore its food culture in depth.

Suet is the best!!

The day of the food tour, me and my husband we are not feeling up to it because we weren’t feeling good. Our tour guide Suet, sat down with us prior to tour, to get our intake on how we were feeling and got to know us on another level, were she found out me and my husband were artist. She took our interest and what we love to do into consideration and She rearranged the whole tour to take us to art galleries and museum's. Me and my husband, well in love with the tour and felt seen, thanks to suet going to whatever lengths, to provide the perfect tour for us.
